I’m not surprised. I saw a poll about 20 years ago that 40% (?) of young people (up to age 25), that identified as evangelical believed everything in the Bible is true except the condemnation of himisexuals.

What does that statistic have to do with anything?

The 1,000 includes alumni. There were over 135,000 active alumni in 2016.
