Beet Powder

    My wife was concerned about her blood pressure reading yesterday and called me while I was at work. I went home and saw that it was 192/116. She is already on blood pressure medicine, and I felt that the doctor would just shrug it off and tell her to keep monitoring and call 911 if she felt any symptoms.
    I went to the store and got some beet powder ("Bountiful Beets"). Half an hour after taking the beet powder, her blood pressure was at about 155 over eighty-something.

    Not making any health claims here, but just thought someone might find this info worthy of note.
