    Religious is a parent.

Spiritual is like a baby says bad things about religious, bad mouths religious, goes on a quest, leaves religious, says all religions are evil.

You don't here Religious bad mouth Spiritual.

But if spiritual reaches enlightenment it comes back to thank religious.

If your "spiritualism" relies on the "spirit" of accusing, finger pointing, blaming and fault finding.things the devil ACCUSER calls virtue, at one point its going to come back to point a finger right back at you.

Evil always says its a WAR or BATTLE between Good and Evil. it always calls itself Good.

Good just sees his little brother in need of guidance, there is no war.

No, God is the Judge. Jason denies the Triune God. Make the simple connection, utilyan.

Denying elohim means to turn away from him in rebellion and sin - law breaking

You deny Elohim because you deny the Triune God, Jason. You are an unforgiven lawbreaker. A dead man walking.

You will forever be making excuses unless God chooses to take away your blindness.

At present, God has not redeemed, Jason. Whether God will choose to redeem Jason sometime remains to be seen. That is up to the Sovereign King to decide, utilyan.
Why does it bother you that God, the King of Kings, makes the decision?

Huge difference. To most, the word religious now carries extreme negative connotation. Even to me, when someone says religious, the term hypocrite immediately comes to mind. Spiritual has a sincere connotation to it. I know one or two of you are about to call me "seeker sensitive." That's fine.

This is another false dichotomy that the American church has set up, in order to beat one side or the other over the head.

I think Stephen Altrogge summed it up best here:
"If you choose a side in the spiritual vs religious debate, you’ll end up killing yourself. Those who are only religious are left with dead religion. Those who are only spiritual end up with a vague, vacuous, mushy, usually unbiblical view of God.

Jesus refused to choose sides. He was passionately religious and deeply spiritual.

Maybe we’d be wise to follow his lead."

Doesn't. Just wondering why your complaining to him rather then making a petition to God to make that decision.

    Re-read my dialogue.

Utilyan, why do you hate God's sovereignty?

Wonderful quote, and exactly on target.

I believe far too often what we see is reactionary in a battle over which is more important – the heart or the head. linked to this are those who down play emotion, as if the expressions of our heart have nothing to do with our faith. Others reject logic and reasoning, denying that there is such an absolute truth as God has revealed in Scripture. Ultimately, the question is what part of us belongs to God and the answer is all of us.

You are absolutely right, spiritual vs religion is a false dichotomy. We are to worship in spirit and truth.

The blood of Jesus atoned for all my sins, so I do not have to make sure that I keep the Law to keep getting saved!
