John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might WORK the WORKS of God?

John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the WORK of God, that ye BELIEVE on him whom he hath sent.

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Romans 4:4 Now to him that WORKETH is the reward not reckoned of grace, BUT OUT OF DEBT.

Romans 4:5 But to him that WORKETH NOT, BUT BELIEVETH on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Gal 3:6 Even as Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the WORKS OF THE LAW are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Gal 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Gal 3:12 And the law is NOT of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

    This is interesting...

James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

James will show you a living example of faith and from all whom he can chose from He choses RAHAB (Awesome!)

James uses "Rahab" for the example of the "works of faith", sending them off in another direction (Rahab was not wrapped up tight under the law seeking her OWN righteousness under the law and did what was right) She was justified.

James 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had SENT THEM OUT ANOTHER WAY?

    God bless
