Ben Sasse's Daughter Questions His Bible Translation Choice

    Recent thread of member here infatuated with Senator Sasse sent me to C-Span. First thing I see is rather awkward swearing-in ceremony. Sasse has brought the New Living Translation for this, and afterwards Vice President Pence asks about the Bible. Sasse tells him how his daughter was not happy with it: "My daughter started 'debating the translation'," that our family doesn't use that, that we're New King James.

    When Mrs. Sasse sets the Bible aside and the Senator retrieves it, you can see it has the characteristic markings on the cover and spine of the "NLT Filament Bible":

    Hmmm - if he did not use the KJV - does that mean - that he is not really a US Senator???? A question that KJO want to know.......
