Yes I liked this library very much and there is no charge for usage which was good. There are also some good solid calvinistic commentaries to be browsed. Just to think I will never again have to transport so many heavy books in my suitcase when I am travelling.

These are awesome. I might even consider selling some of my books to clear up some room in my house now that I have this. Thanks! [IMG]

Good resources, but none can compare with the content with biblecentre.net!

I was delighted to see the two volume commentary on Revelation by R. H. Charles on this list since it is one of the very finest commentaries on Revelation ever written. I was curious how the Greek fonts would show up, so I checked out this two volume commentary and discovered that it isn't really there—the only thing included is the introductory material. I’m glad I discovered this fact before donating my hardcopy to a Christian college.

I took a more detail look at the list, and saw that almost all of the works are very dated and have been superseded by new works. Anyone who would rely on this library for an education in the Bible would end up with a very badly outdated education. However, since historical theology is one of my interests, and there are several books in this library that I do not own, I very much appreciate the link to it.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological & Ecclesiastical Literature

This is a very old 12-volume work that is still very valuable today for historical purposes, but when I tried to open the link—I learned that this work was not there at all. I’m not going to part with my hardcover copy of this work either.

When I compare this “library” to the free e-sword program that can be downloaded and used even when one is not on-line, I find that e-sword not only has very many titles, but they may be downloaded. And their titles are not imaginary—the works are really there! Check it out at e-sword.net.

Be sure to snoop the ppc library at esword. have it and love it. Take a fair library to church with me.

By the way one of the draw backs to esword was that you couldn't look up the tense/mood of verbs, but they have added a new kjv and strongs dictionary that allow that now - for the pc version, not for the ppc yet.
