But it is a reality in the minds of the muslim world. They are blinded by their religion and superstitions. The West needs to wake up and understand how the muslim world perceives things but we are like the proverbial lobster in the cold pot.

All right, I will assume that the Muslim world will indeed see Mr. Obama as a muslim. I fail to see what connection this has to the hypothesis that, after November 4, Mr. Obama will begin to follow a religion that other people ascribe to him.

This is like saying that if other people consider me to be a bridge enthusiast, this will cause me to become a bridge enthusiast....

Well, maybe he will decide to practice Judaism. Then he can say he was once affiliated with the 3 great major religions and work to bring about a 7-year peace treaty for Israel and the Arab nations....he certainly seems to have the charisma to charm the masses.

It sounds like to me that this thread really boils down to if you like Obama or not.

If you like him and hope he wins in Nov. then he is a christian, regardless of any evidence that points to the contrary.

If you do not like him and will not vote for him then he is a muslim in sheeps clothing, again regardless of any evidence that points to the contrary.

This is like church, if you like the pastor any faults are no big deal. BUT if you dont then any fault is reason enough to get rid of him.

The pastor of my church is not promoting abortion and gay rights so there is no comparison.

Not really. Whether one likes him or not has no bearing on his religion. It is what it is. What I object to is the character assasination by his clueless detractors who without evidence, or even with contrary evidence, will paint him to be a Muslim.

...As if having your name on some churchs "membership" (eyes rolling) roll has any significance whatsoever beyond getting the monthly newletter in the mail regularly.

Ok....MP.....he is NOT a Muslim, but he is.....a baby killing, gay loving, America hating, military loathing, left-wing extremist, and a racist.

Are you sure that being a Muslim wouldnt be better?

Barack Obama has never been a Muslim, so becoming a Jew would affiliate him with only 2 of the major world religions.

Ken, I believe I answered this false statement of yours earlier in this thread with documentation from reliable sources. You need to go back and read through it. He was raised muslim and was registered in school as a muslim. He also studied the Koran and went to Friday prayers at the mosque. It is well documented and posted previously.

Unless you can prove that he did this when he was of age and independent of adult supervision, then it is your statement which is false, LE.

No MP, but you are a product of what you were taught as a child...and so is Obama. How strongly he believes in the teachings of his youth only he knows, but the fact remains that some of his personality and beliefs were formed while he was in muslim school. Noone can totally remove all memory of childhood, or totally erase learned behavior and beliefs.

So unless you were raised by Christians, you can't become one??

Hmmm...I wonder if the apostle Paul would agree with you? I wonder if Rahab would agree with you?

LOL...Obama is not a apostle nor is he Rahab, and yes, I would think that they would agree. This is not to say that God cant change a person, but Obama doesnt show any signs of Godly obedience (promotes abortion and gay marriage). Paul would never have changed unless he was willing to obey the Lord.

When I see Obama being obedient, then I will respect the change in him.

There is no evidence that Senator Obama is a Muslim in any way, shape, or form.

Oh, I see. I proved your statement of him never being a muslim to be wrong with reliable documentation, so rather than admit you were wrong, now you're adding an addendum with stipulations. Oh, okay.:laugh:

Well, anyway, I'm sick of hearing his name plastered all over the cable news networks and he isn't even president yet. Maybe Obama will be to the DNC like the quail was to Israel, maybe they will end up vomiting Obama out their nose. Some of us have already had enough. It's going to be a longggggg summer. (sigh)

He went to a Muslim school as a kid growing up. So what?

I spent 8 years in a Catholic school growing up and yet I now...since being born again...consider it to be a false christian organisation that has a great role to play in end time events...for the wrong side.

I have...since my growing up years...been born again, and I wouldnt join the Catholic Church now even if told to at gunpoint.

I'm not going to vote for Obama, but I can say that he is currently in some hot water because of his affiliation with a Christian assembly, and I have heard him say...many times...things like "I believe in Jesus", "I am a christian", etc.

    This should be a non-issue.
