    When is CBS going to figure out that Bush didn't just look liberal, he was liberal. If the republican leadership doesnt figure out that we are having a conservative revolution not a republican one they are going to find themselves shown back to the door in 2012.

    Bush (W.) was moderate, and conservative in some areas. He was more the typical eastern establishment Republican than a true conservative.

    Taft started the process of reclaiming the Republican Party from the eastern establishment faction so as to differentiate true conservatives from Democrats and liberals (often one and the same), and Taft's work was furthered by Goldwater, and election was finally won by Reagan. Every Republican since Reagan has returned to the establishment roots. The Tea Party is the latest grassroots effort to field candidates who are not of the eastern establishment genre and they are, so far, winning at the ballot box largely against the Republican Party itself.
