Bin Laden Threatens Bush States

    "The tape of Osama bin Laden that was aired on Al-Jazeera [1] on Friday, October 29th included a specific threat to "each U.S. state," designed to influence the outcome of the upcoming election against George W. Bush."

    So....Bin Laden wants you to vote for someone other than President Bush. I guess you could say he is in the "anybody-but-Bush" crowd.

    More on Osama's threats

    Over the weekend we finally got a good translation of Usama bin Laden's (search) tape, which suddenly appeared on the air on Friday. Back on Friday, it sounded like gibberish. Now, it's a bit more clear.

    Usama was trying to make a deal with Americans, along these lines: If you vote against Bush, we will not attack you. So, if Ohio votes for Kerry, Usama will not attack. If Flordia votes for Bush, Usama will attack.

    If I were the Democrats I'd be embarrassed that apparently Bin Laden has a Kerry/Edwards sticker on his cave wall. That really says a lot.

    It actually is an indication that Osama wants us to take a breather and re-evaluate, what would happen if anyone other than Bush was elected.
