The Washington Post has a test here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/interactives/candidatequiz/?hpid=topnews

The test gives you parallel statements from candidates on 25 issues; asking which statement you agree with most and allows you to rate the importance of the question to you personally. There is a test for Republican candidates and a separate one for Democratic candidates. I took the test for Republican candidates and here are my results:
    McCain 21 points
    Paul 8 points
    Huckabee 12 points
    Romney 24 points
    Thompson 21 points
    Guiliani 16 points

I love to see you post your results here on the BB and I think you'll enjoy taking the test.

    This was a fun test.

    Ron Paul: 56 points

    Mike Huckabee:20 points

    John McCain: 14 points

    Fred Thompson: 10 points

    Rudy Giuliani: 6 points

    Mitt Romney: 5 points

I'm pleased that Flipp Romney and I do not think alike. Also, I too wish Hunter and Tancredo had been included. I probably would have scored high with Tancredo.

I went back and tried to take it as a democrat.

Man was that an eye opener. I had to quit. There were no answers I could agree with in any way for most of the questions.

I went back to the Washington Post sight and took the test for the Democrats. Let me qualify my results before I post them. On several questions I completely disagreed with every candidate. On those occasions--several occasions I simply voted for the last quote on the page. So somebody(s) got votes at random simply so I could continue progressing through the test. Here are my results:

    Edwards 24
    Clinton 12
    Obama 20
    Dodd 16
    Richardson 26

Two comments: These results seem to be what I thought they would be with Richardson getting the most votes. He really does seem to be the most moderate Democrat. However, that logic doesn't apply to John Edwards. As a native North Carolinian, I disassociate myself from him and his second place finish in my results. :BangHead:
