Black Lives Matter cashes in with $100 million from liberal foundations - Washington Times

For all its talk of being a street uprising, Black Lives Matter is increasingly awash in cash, raking in pledges of more than $100 million from liberal foundations and others eager to contribute to what has become the grant-making cause du jour.

The Ford Foundation and Borealis Philanthropy recently announced the formation of the Black-Led Movement Fund [BLMF], a six-year pooled donor campaign aimed at raising $100 million for the Movement for Black Lives coalition.

That funding comes in addition to more than $33 million in grants to the Black Lives Matter movement from top Democratic Party donor George Soros through his Open Society Foundations, as well as grant-making from the Center for American Progress.

Psalm 92:5 O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

8 But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.

9 For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. KJV

Imagine what terrible destiny we would have if it were not for God's grace and Holy Spirit, His very many precious promises He has made to us to give us a sure and certain hope of eternal salvation, that we will overcome the world by our faith. 1 John 5:5
He keeps us by His power through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

    1 Peter 1
    New King James Version

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.

When Christ returns it means our salvation
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

The world when He returns He will burn, but we will be saved
Jesus saves us from the wrath of God to come.

2 Thessalonians 1 NKJV - Greeting - Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, - Bible Gateway

As believers apply their faith & hope in Jesus Christ as their Good Shepherd for abiding in Him as His disciples by helping them to discern & lay aside every weight & sin in running that race that He will finish to His glory, they will get to know Him & the power of His resurrection as they see themselves following Him by their faith in Him & not by their will power,

Not every saved believer will apply their faith in Jesus Christ to be their personal Good Shepherd to help them to follow Him. Most believers today follow a church or a "famous" Christian speaker or evangelist without proving everything by Him.

Being a disciple of Jesus Christ means relying on Him all the time for everything to be our personal Good Shepherd & Friend to be ready ( Luke 12:40-49 & John 15:1-8 & Hebrews12:1-2 & 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 ) & also help them to be willing to go ( Luke 21:34-36 & Luke 14:15-33 ). That is why little children are free to come to the Lord for all they can do is trust the Lord at His word ( Mark 10:13-15 & John 6:28-29 ) It is the religious people that have a hard time letting go & trusting God to find their rest in Jesus Christ now; Matthew 11:28-30 & Hebrews 4:1-11

Those unrepentant saints & former believers that get left behind are still saved, but shall be resurrected after the great tribulation.

    Thank you for sharing.
