    Agreed. Except for the Morris quote.

    There are some who have suffered more in the flesh. I think of those burned at the stake, flayed alive, whose children were tortured and mutilated before their eyes, etc., but we will be spared the torments which Christ suffered in the spirit.

    God forsook Him. He shall never leave nor forsake us.

    But I think if we used the word "tested" where it's an appropriate substitute for the word "tempted," it would clear up a lot of the confusion.

    Those burned at the stake or other such ways because they would not deny Christ I would say ultimately did not "yield to the temptation"
