See this link - I believe Eisenhower was the President - not Carter.

Carter, along with Kennedy, is a President for whom there is a lot of respect.

Muslims are not jihadi psychopaths. They are followers of a false religion who need the Gospel of salvation by Jesus Christ. As are most professed Christians, Jews, Atheists, Hindus, Communists ....

My bad. I was thinking that Carter was the one who deposed the Shah because Carter is a nut.

As for Iranian democracy, it is much like the UK police state where the rich are on full charge.

Jimmy Carter. He plunged the United States into a historic economic crisis (high inflation and sky-high interest rates), gutted the United States military, created a contrived energy crisis, and botched the Iran Hostage Crisis. The only good thing he did was pave the way for Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher had one of the most successful President-Prime Minister relationships in both their nation's history. It is yet to be seen how Trump and Johnson will work together.

Carter had high unemployment, too. The rust belt shed industrial jobs.

The USA & UK ended Iranian democracy in 1953.

I am sure that Iran was a typical European state. The Europeans wanted the oil. The Shah was a million times better than what they have now. The UK got fat off Iran and Iran is getting ready to destroy Israel. Jimmy Carter brought the terrorists to power. He hates Jews, too.
