BRIDGEPORT — The city’s mayor is applauding a good deed done by a local police officer.
Bridgeport Officer Cody Remy was caught on camera helping a boy who needed help fixing his broken bicycle.
The officer had no idea someone was watching or taking pictures. When Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch got word of the kind act he said:
“Officer Remy`s act of helping out a child in need in our community is a great example. He doesn`t think he did anything extraordinary. But I disagree. The picture speaks for itself. And, I’ll leave it up to others in our community and beyond to decide for themselves.”
