Appearing on Wednesday's MSNBC Daily Rundown, NBC special correspondent Tom Brokaw warned his media colleagues about their excessive coverage of the Chris Christie bridge controversy: "I do think, across the country, however, when they're looking at long-term unemployment, and they're looking at the uncertainty of the ObamaCare, they're saying, 'You've got to move on, guys.'"

In light of their own Sunday news shows, I doubt they heard him. Meet the Press with David Gregory turned over half of their Sunday show to the exploitation of the so-called "Bridgegate scandal." This was their choice the week of Robert Gates' scathing book Duty hit the booksellers, with its direct accusations of incompetence, political showmanship replacing national security, and the animosity of this White House for its predecessor's military policies. Yeah, NBC's got it goin' on all right.

This just further highlights how irrelevant NBC has become. The network used to be a giant. Now it's just a joke. David Gregory doesn't have a non-partisan bone in his body.
