Being a huge Broncos fan most of my life I was so frustrated with their play over the last few weeks, but once again you quickly realize the game doesn't really mean that much!

You think it had to do with their loss to SF? I was thinking it was gang related but who knows.

I do fear for these young men hearts when we take them strait from the "hood" and make millionares out of them. Like the prodical son, when we get too much too soon without first developing any appreciation, the wealth consumes our souls. TO is a great example.

My prayers are with him and his family/friends...

I'm going to stop playing fantasy sports. I must be bad luck. I had Darrent Williams on my Fantasy Football team and Cory Lidle on my fantasy baseball team.

This incident with Williams is very troubling and tragic.

I wouldn't want to speculate why it happened, however I would wonder why he was where he was at that time of the morning...

I didn't know until recently that Williams was from this area (went to high school in Fort Worth).

What concerns me at this point is that I'm not hearing anything about any possible leads in solving the case. Though the police don't (and shouldn't) mention details, usually in a high-profile case they will mention whether they have anything or not.

    He was a Baptist....right?

Anyway, he was a well loved player and a good person who had been counseled as a teen and had turned his life around. I would like to believe that his counselor at church led him to the Lord.

Such a talent, and gone in a wink of an eye. How sad....

I am a Broncos fan, of course. But such a loss as this transcends any sport.
