    So if you counted on me as a source of intelligence, and I kept telling you that the guy sitting across from you was planning to pour sour milk down your shirt, and using my information you convinced the guy sitting beside you to attack the guy across from you, only to find out he never had sour milk in the first place, would you be guilty of lying?

    All you did was share information that you thought was accurate because you trusted me. If that makes you a liar, then you have a very weak definition of lying.

    For myself, I'm no fan of George Bush. I'm no fan of any politician who does nothing but expand the powers of government. But I don't sit around blaming George Bush 7 years after the fact. Hearing some people talk, you would think that Bush was still President, and that democrats never controlled Congress.

    Bush lied for the same reason Obama lies. They are serving their master's wishes.

    Who's their master?

    PS. Politicians lie us into wars because they know we'd never go to war if they told us the truth about why they really want to take us to war.
