C4K is very capable of answering, but I'd like to take a try at it myself, too.

    The answer is "yes".
</font>[/QUOTE]ER... if it was worse it could not be forgiven. But Jesus said in Matt 12:31 that all sins could be forgiven but the one against the Holy Spirit.

So, no, homosexuality is not worse than other human criminal activities, as it is, like them, forgiveable.

    I am entirely serious.

Overeating is a sin. It is not only wasteful, it harms ths body. Even one too many cheeseburgers.

Thinking a jealous thought, f'rinstance, resenting your neighobor's new car, is a sin.

Neither is as serious as having sex with another person of the same gender.

Of course it's forgiveable. But it's worse than letting your parking meter run out of time, which is also a sin.

I dion't see a question about it being the "worst" sin, just worse than any other sin. It is much worse than many other sins in its impact. It is worse that driving 75 in a 70 zone. It is worse than overeating. It is worse than telling a lie of convenience.

It is amazing how these things get turned around. I would be apalled if a drug dealer or child molester were appointed to be ambassador, just as I ma that an open homosexual was.

    CAN YOU SEE IT NOW????

No one said it was the worst sin - just worse than many others - and yes it does destory more homes than gossip.

That is not the point being made - homosexuality is a threat to the very structure of the family. Children are now growing up think that having two mommies or daddies os normal.

I am not going to shout - I find it unbecoming.

Would I be upset if an adulterer where made ambassador - yes.
Would I be upset if a child abuser were made ambassador - yes.
Would I be upset if a drug addict were made ambassador - yes.
Would I be upset if a known alcoholic were made ambassador - yes.
Would I be upset if a speeder wer made ambassador - probably not.

And if we want to get back to the original topic - President Bush is not in favour of a total ban on the slaughter of the unborn. If the mother's life is in danger it is okay to murder the child.

Is that a bad enough sin to justify criticism?

    C4K-

Your child is hanging over a cliff...all that is keeping him from falling to his death is the fact that he has your hand .....but, he is about to pull you over the edge with him...no ifs, ands or buts, you ARE going over the edge if you do not let go....

So there is no way to save your child.

    Do you let go?

Ouch, my eyes are burning!!! [IMG]

Statistically, most marriages are destroyed by adultery and financial irresponsibility. After that comes physical abuse, drug and alcohol addictions. Homosexuality is further down. As for gossip, it's probably a contributing factor in all marital, not to mention all other, issues.

Is your purpose in this area just to find something to be critical about?

No. I can honestly say that I would never intentionaly let go of his hand - never.

Something MIGHT happen at the last minute. Who knows what God might do?

I totally oppose any pre-natal murder.

If it were your wife or your daughter's life at risk, would you still say that?

How can you call on me to choose my wife over my child - or my daughter over my grandaughter?

That unborn child would be MY CHILD, how can anyone excuse its murder for any cause?
