(opps - title should be Cable News Network)

Happened to tune into CNN today.

The show is called CNN Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin.

Now I am of the understanding that a newsman is to report facts. While reporting on the murder of the Muslims at UNC, she added to the report numerous adjectives which showed her biases in support of the Muslims.

In addition, I have tuned into CNN Headline News a couple of times - and it appears that it is no longer hard news.

Am I the only one who feel this way?

What are some examples of editorializing within a "news" report.

Meant to put this in the OP - but ....

Baldwin was stated when preparing to read a statement - she said "Quote exactly"

That phrase sounds redundant. If you do not use the exact words - then it is not a quote?

It's a paraphrase.

You can't say "I'm quoting" and not use the exact words. So you are correct.
