    To all my BV/T Forum friends:

    It has become necessary for me to give up my position as Moderator here on the Baptist Board. The Lord has blessed our church and my time and attention is much needed there and at home.

    I would like to thank my co-Moderators Dr. Bob and C4K for their patience with my lack of participation in the past several weeks. They deserve another Moderator who is able to shoulder a rightful share of the responsibility.

    I would also like to thank those of you who were able to civilly and respectfully debate this very controversial issue. I know that the matter will not be resolved in this forum or in any other, but I also see the need to discuss these issues.

    I would also like to thank you for the respect and courtesy that you showed to me personally as Moderator. Even though I stand on the opposite side as many of you, the civility was usually always present.

    I have truly enjoyed moderating this forum, and will look forward to looking in now and again.

    I second what Bro.Tony wrote, and would also like to thank you for youe excellent work and praise God for blessing us with your presence. I hope you find the time to share your thoughts with us as you've done so many times so far.

    The purpose of Christian message boards such as this is the EDIFICATION OF ALL THE READERS, and you've certainly edified this ole boy!

    Thanks for your hard work as Moderator,not an easy task. Can't think of a better reason to scale back, pray that some day soon, I can say the same thing.
