Jacob Kersey of the Port Wentworth Police Department decided to resign than to
compromise his Christian beliefs

He was right to maintain his stance, and it may be good that he’s speaking out, but that sort of case should be handled by a lawyer. Sometimes, just a letter from a civil rights lawyer is enough. Other times, it may have to go all the way to the Supreme Court.

Jacob Kersey of the Port Wentworth Police Department decided to resign than to
compromise his Christian beliefs

More specifically, he said he resigned because they changed policy (so they told him) and planned to fire him, if he continued as a private citizen to express his own views on scripture on Facebook (I think it was). With his superiors not having his back, the situation was untenable.
