    Until recently nearly all politicians claimed to be Christian, and many of them served in the Military before becoming "Commander and Chief." Mr. Carter, Mr. Reagan, and Mr. Kennedy come to mind as actually taking bold actions in accordance with Christian behavior.

    When Mr. Kennedy returned with the rescue boat to his stranded crew, as they sat on the deck returning home, they sang "Onward Christian Soldier."

    On a personal note, I was honored to know an aviator who flew Corsair's, Sandie's, and Phantom's in WWII, Korea and Viet Nam, landing all of them on the decks of Aircraft carriers. As I said, my honor.
