Christmas in DC

This just in from Washington, DC: The Supreme Court has ruled there will be no Nativity scene this year in the nation's capital. The ruling was not based on any religious principle, however. The problem stems from the inability of Nativity organizers to locate three wise men anywhere in the city.

We often ask for "three wise guys" when developing our nativity scenes. We've never had a problem filling the spots since...:)

While I was in seminary two friends and I dressed as wise men one year and went to the mall. When people asked us what we were doing we told them "trying to get to Jesus" since the wise men shouldn't be part of any nativity scene. ;)

THe OP joke was first heard from Jay Leno. The full joke goes something like this:

The Supreme Court has ruled that they cannot have a nativity scene in Washington, D.C. This wasn't for any religious reasons. They couldn't find three wise men and a virgin.
