Doctrine – Same teachings – Different generation
Family – Of the same genetics – Different children
Church – Same doctrine – Different feel

Noticing that we had a good generation all the years of Joshua and pure evil the next.

7 And the people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the Lord, that he did for Israel.
10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel. – Judges 2

I would tell people to get a feel of the church, senior pastor, and membership before joining. Just because someone has the correct doctrine in their head does not guarantee good people.

I have had a good feel of both Calvinistic and Armenian churches alike... I have enjoyed...

1. Calvinistic - I really liked John MacArthur
2. Armenian - I also enjoyed the Freewill Baptist Church
3. GARBC Baptist - And the registered Baptist as well
4. Methodist - There is a congregation I have enjoyed that is an hours drive. They were threw out of the UMC and successfully made a new church.
5. Pentecostal Holiness - I also enjoyed the Pentecostal Holiness Church while we had a good evangelist for a pastor.

Spiritual warfare... I am trying to get a grip on what has changed after Covid.

1. Church - Many people stopped going to church
2. Thinking – They try to come up with an intelligent explanation to justify why
3. Emotions – They get upset with you for disagreeing with them

My company hired a guy who takes great interest in his Bible. Hey! I like that book too! In talking over his viewpoints he said he rests on Saturday. So… Are you Adventist then? I have never heard of Adventist he replies. In talking things over with them I could tell we would probably end up disagreeing on a whole lot of things. This makes it tough as people develop so many unique views that it is hard to develop a fellowship or agreement with them.

And I have also been visiting Independent and Southern Baptist Churches. I think in these days the senior pastor and elders are more important than ever.
