    I never understood this. My life rests in the power of God, not the guardian angel. If I had one. If I had one, I really think I have a fleet.

    I believe the power of God directs the angels, so it's a mute point with me. Have you never read in the Bible where God sent his angels (or one angel) for protection?

    That mean to guard...hence the name "guardian angel".

    I often pray for God to encamp his angels around me, or put a hedge of protection (angels) around me, in certain situations.

    As far as the saying, it is actually more for a key ring than a bulletin board, but I think it's cute. :tongue3:

    The problem with this one is that they meant that the electricity was out so church had been canceled.

    On who's power do WE rely?
