Climate mccarthyism: The scandal grows

Professor Lennart Bengtsson - the scientist at the heart of the "Climate McCarthyism" row - has hit back at his critics by accusing them of suppressing one of his studies for political reasons.
The paper, which Prof Bengtsson wrote with four co-authors, suggested that climate is probably less sensitive to greenhouse gases than is admitted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and that more research needs to be done to "reduce the underlying uncertainty". However, when submitted for publication in the leading journal Environmental Research Letters, the paper failed the peer-review process and was rejected.
One of the peer-reviewers reportedly wrote:
‘It is harmful as it opens the door for oversimplified claims of “errors” and worse from the climate sceptics media side.’
This, Prof Bengtsson told the Times, was "utterly unacceptable" and "an indication of how science is gradually being influenced by political views."
He added:
‘The problem we now have in the climate community is that some scientists are mixing up their scientific role with that of a climate activist.’

This new McCarthyism, not aimed at communist traitors inside the USA but at the taxpayer and at the scientist, is the handiwork of Ivy League lawyer politicians who are not known for honesty, compassion, or knowledge. This is from the power-hungry Democrats. It protects their grafts of ethanol (farm bloc votes), solar power, bird-blender windmill power, tax-payer subsidized cars and all of the other Rube Goldberg schemes that date back to at least Jimmy Carter so that we have over thirty years of subsidized failure. However, it was G.W. Bush who stood by while the Edison light bulb after 100 years of practicality was dumped to sell the mercury-using expensive light bulbs that no one wanted or likes except some Democrat manufacturer. It is the Democrats who have declared war on coal for no good reason even though coal miners have always voted for Democrats. It is like the French Revolution devouring its own.


Accurate and reliable scientific records of climate date back to the late 19th century and are limited in their geographical area. I myself question if we have good records even today on a worldwide basis. So how can a handful of records show any long-standing scientific point?

Not to stray from the policial repression of today, we see that the Russians nourished the Lysenko notion for decades until the whole world laughed aloud constantly at the thought that communists believed that acquired characteristics could be passed to offspring. Even today the world is laughing at US professors subsidized by Democrat politicans who have repressed the truth about Darwin. And the common people who are paying for all of this Democrat graft and watching this repression in the name of science done by the lawyers and for the lawyers are laughin at this latest joke showing the lies and corruption of the Democrats. It is not science.
