My church is the same way!

Most folks visiting seem to "already know the drill."

If someone is saved during the service in which communion is held, we hold up the communion and take the new believer to the water. Once I was at a communion service in which someone was saved and wanted to take part. The church was several miles from a usable hole of water several people loaded up in vehicles and drove to the water hole. I remember I was in the back of a pickup truck with several others (not safe but a very pleasant experience that evening with several people in the back of the truck singing) the new believer was baptized and every one went back to the church house and the communion was set. some people had remained at the church and continued having service.
