Still wouldn't help me. I'm barely drawing enough to cover my house payment so there's no way I could afford anything to pay for insurance. It is only by God's provision that I have not been late or missed a payment through this whole ordeal so far. Right now the only health insurance we have is prayer. Should anything happen to my wife or I we will lose everything.

I do not expect the government to wipe my nose. If/when I am able to secure a job I will have us covered, either through my employer or with private calamity insurance (which I will only be able to keep until 0bamaCare kicks in and then I will be forced to buy a "comprehensive" plan).

Spending this part of my life well below the poverty line has shown me the allure of all of King Zero's socialist programs... but I am wise enough to know that these golden apples being offered to us are as poisoned as the one given to Snow White.

Reading yopur post Trotter, i wondered what happens when people who work to take care of their families, don't get governement help, can not afford obamas insurance and food, but will pay a fine if they do not buy the insurance, meaning they can't buy food.

No offense, but I thought people in your shoes believed in being assisted by the church.

I've been in your shoes, or should I say similar shoes, several times in the past, the most that most churches did was to pity and pray for me. But, they did not offer any assistance, except for transportation to church when I did not have a car.

Should the church assist us if the president takes our money for an insurance we do not want? No, we do not expect our church to supply us monthly for the rest of our lives, especially since we could continue to take care of ourselves if it were not for the forced insurance.
Oh, maybe you need a different church if they don't want to take care of it's members. When my husband was out of work all winter, we relied on God to take care of us and He did, and our church came through for us, and we didn't even tall any of them he was unemployed, God actually told the man in charge of that funding, and he came to us to verify and began helping us. If a church doesn't take care of it's own people then the people need a new church.
But church help should never be permanent help.
But with the governement now wanting even more of our money, who knows, I do know it isn't going to go well for us.
