It's delicious...what a perfect bedtime snack! And you were so sweet to get it for me! I do hope you got it at WalMart...I've found it to be much more affordable there than anywhere else!!
I see you are from Illinois. I lived in Chicago once...for about a year. After about the third time my boss had to come get my car out of the snow, I said, "Please get me back to Texas!!"

Hey I am back in the 21st century. For anyone that didn't hear Rockford got hit with a HUGE thrunderstorm at about 4 am Sat. morning. It was described by the weather service as a microburst. Whatever that means. What it ment to me was: no electricity from the wee hours Sat. morning until about 8pm Monday night. We slept at the chruch Sunday night because of the heat. No telephone from about 10 Sat. morning till Monday Evening. Lots and Lots of trees down all over town.
I have heard estimates of over 80,000 homes without power from the storm. With about 60,000 of them in Rockford. Here is something to Praise God about. I have not heard of one person being injured either in the storms or the cleanup efforts. There are electrical crews from as far away as Texas up here helping to get the power back on. As of this morning I heard that 20,000 homes were still with out power.
I am not ever going to attempt to catch up on what has happened in the coffee house while I was out of touch. It is good to be back.

Hey Bill, we had serious storms today to! Part of the town is without electric since earlier today. A few towns over next county the count is about 80,000 without.
It was amazing to watch though! I've never seen that big of a storm without a tornado touchdown. They said we had a tornado about 7 miles away from us. I'm so glad the power didn't go out, and it was really suprising it didn't! It goes out if you look at it funny for the most part! LOL
Have you been around lately? I haven't seen you. I might just need new glasses though!

Gina: I fixed his supper and sent him to prop his leg up around 7:00! I figured he was already dozing by the time I said good night and here I am up past midnight. The thunder is keeping me awake!

She may have been here, for I found this place tydied up from last night, and the coffee pot was on the hot plate, just the way I like it.

P.S. Our guest arrived from Toronto, Canada, OK. But he did not come with Greyhound. We waited there at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, then called him on his cell phone and found out that he changed plans and he was on the train instead...

Good morning all! I was up bright and early but didn't sleep well either, Sue. Kept waking up. Probably worrying about my tooth.
It's to be hot again today so I've got the air going and will try to get some things done.
