    Good morning folks!

Sun for three days before the next rains! YAY! I got out in the yard a little yesterday but was surprised at how tired I got so quickly! Didn't get everything I wanted done, but there are two more days of sun left to do it in!

Barry just woke up. He's too dizzy to stand up and running a fever, so there goes church! Sigh....

BUT, our website is back in operation and that paper I was working on is up. You don't have to understand it, but if some of you could go in and admire all the formatting.....LOL
    http://www.setterfield.org/behaviorzpe.html

for instance, go to appendix 4 and see all the links and subscripts and superscripts and Greek characters in the equations. I DID IT!

Some of you have emailed to us at setterfield.org in the past few weeks. So far we have not been able to access those emails. So whether or not we will be able to get to them is, right now, anyone's guess. If there was anything important, please send it again. It will get to us now. And until the Lord comes, I hope!

Lots to do since there's only one adult running the show here now. Gina has two of hers down. What a mess!

Chances are we will all survive, though, and the world will keep turning.

    Every blessing to you all.

    Good Afternoon Everybody,

It is 32 degrees sunny and clear.

PD there once was a foolish husband who told his wife: "Honey, you take care of the kids, cook, keep up the house, and do the laundry. No Wife of mine is gonna work!"

Quiet day here. G-kids aren't home yet,so after church I did the chores and got the dinner ready to go for them. Spanish Chicken, Scored Potatoes, Onion-Garlic Bread, Grapefruit-Orange Medley, and Deep-Dish Blueberry Pie for dessert.

Tonight have to make sure all homework is done, kids get their snack, and ready for bed. The I'll go over my notes from the Pastor's message, read the suggested scripture readings, and do my devotional. Then I'll call it a day.

Another blessed day has begun. We had a sprinkle of snow overnight, but nothing to be concerned about. It remains somewhat mild, but will drop tonight as frigid air moves in. Only a few weeks to go.

Cheers everyone and enjoy each day as God gives it. I sure appreciate every new day God gives me.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good morning Jim and all,

It is 28º right now with sunny skies on the way. It will be in the 30's and 40's during the day all this week, but drop down to below 20º at night.

I have been up for awhile, but took my shower before I hit the computer this morning. Brent should be getting up any minute and it will be time to fix breakfast. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying a cup of hot chocolate.

    HAGD!

    Good Morning Everybody,

It is actually warmer in MI then it is in TX this morning. Now it is 32 degrees with snow showers here in MI, and 28 degrees and sunny in TX. Just wait until my Wife calls so I can rub it in.

I brought in Breakfast Burritos, Skillet Scramble, and Banana Crepes. Enjoy.

Our church is having a Wild Game Dinner this saturday so I'm taking
Salmon with Tarragon Cream, and Salmon with Citrus Salsa.

Time to get to the chores. I want this place to be spotless when my Wife gets back Wednesday afternoon.

Good Morning Everyone! Long time no see!

This, hopefully, was my last hectic week and weekend. I'm tired! Now if I can just make it to this coming Saturday, I might get to sleep in past 7 o'clock. :D

Dad's home so I'm minus three little doggies. PTL! Have I said lately how much I hate little indoor dogs? It's funny though, cause I got used to them waking me up at 6 every morning and this morning I almost slept over! And I still stop every now and again and wonder where they are. Seems like I had almost gotten used to them! Gasp!

The cat is happy again, since the dogs are gone. She is reclaiming her territory this morning.

I ended up with an extra kid for the weekend. Chris' best friend never got his pine derby car put together, so he came over and T helped him out with it Saturday and yesterday morning. Just in time cause the race was last night! T had high hopes that both cars would place, but it was not to be. Chris placed third however, so they were happy. Another one of Chris' good friends placed first (they are both sixth graders racing for the last time) and in between in 2nd place came a little third grader sneaking in. Our RA pine derby race is a blast for the boys and their families. We had 39 cars entered in all!

Today is the normal chores and then I have a little smocked jumper to put together. I have to run Cass to school about 10:30. She gets to go in late every morning this week because the 10th graders are taking the graduation exam. This is such an important event that school admin want no distractions from the other 3 grades. Chris and Jenna, however, are not happy with this turn of events and say it's not fair!

I need to get moving. See ya!

Almost good afternoon everyone!! It's chilly again here - don't think we'll see that 59 degrees that we had on Saturday for a while yet. It was a nice surprise though!! Tomorrow is supposed to top out at around 20 degrees.

Today is a quiet day at home with homeschooling, chores and laundry. I have to pick up Joanna from preschool in a bit then we're home. DH is going to get me 2 new tires so that I can get the car inspected, oil changed and possibly the brakes done. UGH!! Not sure when I'll get that in - hmmmm - I think Thursday is pretty free, so maybe that's a good day to be car-less.

Not much else going on right now - we're pretty boring at this point.

Rob - I think that 'Game Night' is supposed to be like wild boar, venison, bear, and that sort of thing. Tarragon cream and citrus salsa just don't sound so "wild" to me. ;)

mea culpa! I talked with the man behind the Wild Game Dinner to see about some questions I had.

He laughed, and said almost exactly what Ann said.

    Is my face RED!!

We all had a good laugh about it.

ROTFL!! Now if you can do something great with the 30 Canadian geese on my front lawn, THAT would work out great!!! I keep threatening them with the oven but it doesn't seem to bother them.

    Hello Everybody!:wavey:

We went to Virginia over the weekend to attend the USAF Retirement Ceremony for hubby's older brother.

I have cousins that live in Enterprise, AL and some live in Coffee County. For those not in the South, they're in the same County but not in the City limits. One cousin teaches at Enterprise High School, she was not hurt, but now needs a new car. (Cars are expendable.)

    Hey everybody,
Had a very windy Saturday while yesterday and today were beautiful! On my way home, the thermometer read 70. Could spring finally be coming? It's another very busy week-I am at the same school substuting all week. They have gotten to where they don't even looked shocked when I walk in the lunch room, they just want to know who I am for that day! I was out in the wind all day Saturday at soccer games so I am battling my allergies. I have almost lost my voice which isn't a good thing. I am working with first graders tommorrow and kindergarten the rest of the week. Time to go make some homemade lemonade.
    Take care.

Sorry I've not posted for a while. I've not been able to stay awake long enough to function properly lately. We finally got the Cpap machine on Saturday and now I'm feeling great. Praise the Lord!:godisgood:

FoG--We have wild game at our regular church pot lucks. So far there has been quail, squirrel, pheasant, venison, along with the typical fried chicken and cornbread. Couldn't bring myself to taste the squirrel, but the pheasant was better than I had expected.

Ann--I've heard that geese won't hang around with ducks, although the ducks might be worse . .You might try some duck decoys. At least they won't mess on the lawn.

    Good morning all,

Rob: Bergoo always goes over well at a wild game dinner. It is a stew made from various kinds of wild game, rabbit, squrrel, actually, most of the time I don't ask because I really don't want to know.

It is 21º this morning and cloudy. I just got back from taking Brent to school and am ready for my cup of hot chocolate!

I am starting a new project this morning. I am going to try and tear the ceiling out of the sun porch. Then I will tear the walls down to the studs. Bob and his son, Jonny, are coming up around Easter to re-roof, insulate and put up paneling and a suspended ceiling.

The old ceiling and walls are warped and rotting because of so many leaks over the years. They need replacing badly! The ceiling is actually the old tongue and groove that was put up when the porch was built as an "open" front porch about 60 years ago.

That's why I want the ceiling down, so I can actually tell where the leaks are coming from. I'd rather not re-roof the whole house when I think the leak is coming from the sun porch!

I would like to have as much of the demolition work done for them as I can. Their time here may be limited. They are also going to run electricity to the porch and I will have a ceiling light/fan out there, as well as a couple of electric outlets. That will be wonderful!!!

After they get their job done. I have a deacon in the church (who is also in business for himself - The Master's Builder) coming over to remove the old windows and replace them with double hung, insulated glass, tilt-in, windows. The old windows haven't been opened in about 40 years and they are single pane, no storm windows. They ice up on the inside!

I will then build shelves to go around the room (from the floor to up under the windows) for my 'ebay stock'. That room is basically used as my ebay store except when we do crafts on the table and booths that are out there. Once I can open the windows, and we have electricity, we may eat out there, and play board games, on warm evenings. "Redneck Deck".

    Time to hit the bricks...errrrrrrrr,,,,,,ceiling.

    HAGD!

    Good Morning Everyone!

Don't worry Cuz, I wouldn't much help at a wild game supper either. I was thinking something along the lines of Monoply or Speed Bo only with a jazzed up name.

Today I'm playing doctor redial. Jenna's been feeling bad since she came home from a friend's house with a fever Thursday evening. How long it takes me to get to the docs office on the phone is an indication of how long we'll be sitting. Today is a record, I got through to them before I finished posting.

After the doc's appointment, will be karate and my smocking class. I guess I won't be around much today. Ya'll have a good one and don't work to hard! :flower:

Editted to say: Sue, wear a mask when you start tearing that stuff out. All that dust is sure to bother your lungs & sinuses and give you a nasty case of brochitis. We don't want you to get sick.

It's cold here - 16 degrees when I got up at 8 and now at almost 10, it's only 17. It's SO windy too - brrrr!! 2 cups of tea and I'm not yet warm. I may have to start a fire! The house is 65 degrees and not getting any warmer. **SHIVER**

Today is a quiet day. I'm watching my friend's little 2 year old right now while she's at the doctor for a prenatal appointment and then we'll do homeschooling. I'll have to run to the store after lunch - we have nothing for dinner and I'm not sure what I want to make. Hmmm - have to think about that!

Have a great day all!! Keep warm all those who are in cold areas and for those in warm places :p

    Good Morning Everybody,

It is 12 degrees and sunny here this morning. We're forecasted 1-3" of snow tonight. Winter just can't take the hint that it's time to leave.

Maybe I should have just told the guy from the Wild Game Dinner that my favorite wild game is Chocolate Mousse. I'm going to take Creamy Horseradish Potatoes, that should go with wild game.

I brought in Breakfast Pizza, Caramel-Apple Panini, and Creamy Banana Crepes. Enjoy.

Sue that's good advice about the mask. All the dust and debris is going to fall right in your face. If you've got some kind of protective glasses that would be a big help too. What happened?, somebody tell you it was time for you to "raise the roof?"

Not much going on here. The Gkids are all in school so it's nice and quiet here. I'll finish the chores then have to go into town to get some errands done. I want to lay in some supplies in case the forecasters are wrong and we get more snow than predicted.

    .

I boasted too much about the 80 degree weather we were having just a few days ago that God brought in some very chilly weather. The highs have been in the 50's and nights have reached the 30's. It's supposed to start warming up again today, but we'll see.

I wondered where it came from. It's been unusually chilly lately. I checked the temps for the new 10 days, and it's supposed to be in the mid to upper 70's F. That's hard to take, but I'm try. So there.

    Good morning all,

It's 25º this morning, with cloudy skies. The high is supposed to be 40º.

I was called to work the corner again today and possibly the rest of the week, so I have to take Brent to school early in time to get there. The public junior high had a bomb threat yesterday and evacuated all the kids. I'm glad I wasn't working...

Today, I will start moving the ebay items I have for sale, from the sun porch to the family room. I can't 'raise the roof' until the room is empty.

Brent is out of school the week of the 19th, so I think I'll wait until then for the ceiling and walls. He can help me with the dirty work plus HE can be up on the step-ladder instead of ME.

I will definitely be wearing a mask and so will Brent because he has Asthma.

    Got to run.
    HAGD!
