    Good morning Everyone!

Donuts, coffee and juice are served. That's as good as it gets this morning!

I am in the process of deep cleaning my house so, ya'll probably won't see much of me until I'm done.

Ya'll be good and don't make me have to come back to clean the Coffee House!

    Jim! You're both adorable!!!

I have found that http://www.flickr.com/ works with this format just like Village Photos worked with the old format.

    Good morning all,

I am just popping in. I have been washing the woodwork in the dining room and getting ready to paint the walls and hopefully get started on the trim.

When the sweat starts pouring off of me (yes sweat not perspiration) I sit down and cool/dry off for a spell. This is one of those spells.

If I sit too long, I would be tempted to stay here all day, under the fan.

    HAGD!

Thank you. Did you shrink that photo, then? I do appreciate it. I am not too clever when it comes to photos since going to the new windows program.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    You're quite welcome, Jim.

You don't have to shrink it or anything, just upload it. That is the size it comes out.
I have Windows XP. Do you have that or the new Windows Vista? I really don't think it would make a difference either way with flikr.

Back to painting. I will be back later.

    Morning everybody,

Would you please be in prayer for our family? We received some devastating news last night, and we're still reeling from it.

I can't go into details yet because things are still happening, but hopefully I can soon.

    Thank you for your prayers.

    Rob

    Praying for your situation, Rob!

Gayla: Miss Cali woke me up at 4:45 this morning by tickling my nose with her whiskers! I couldn't go back to sleep either.

It is raining off and on again. Brent hasn't been able to work outside for several days, but I am still painting on the inside.

I need to get busy too...

I brought in some bacon, eggs, and grits for breakfast. Clean up after yourself.

    HAGD!

    Good Afternoon Everybody,

Things have calmed down a bit around here.

At close to Midnight last night our Son called to tell us that we're going to be grandparents again. In view of the fact that we are raising all 4 of our grandchildren this bit of news wasn't received with open arms.

It's been a sleepless night, and the source of much discussion[not all of it calm and edifying either], but slowly acceptance is dawning on all of us.

    * SIGH * I thought only the Mothers got Morning Sickness. AAARGHHHHH!

My Wife is 57 and I'm 55. We're getting too old for this.

Gayla - hope you were able to catch up with some quality zzzZZZZ last night and were refreshed.

Rob - I was going to write yesterday afternoon that whatever the devastating news you received I pray that the good Lord bring you through as in the quaint story of the Footsteps In The Sand..... But after reading your post this morning I empathize with you for I know what it means raising grandchildren. That is why the Lord sought to it that while we are still young, He gave us children and grandchildren only for a short time to spoil and then give them back to their parents. Our prayers are with you and your dear wife! :praying:

Lenke and I will be out of town today as we celebrate the 37th birthday of our younger daughter. We will go and see our granddaughter, Tori, and grandson, Noah, play soccer with their respective teams this morning at their school before going to their house. It looks like we will have a good day with some sunshine, but the rain is coming for tomorrow and Monday. Hope you folks will have a blessed day! :type:

    Morning all,

I brought in cinnamon rolls, with milk and juice. Y'all enjoy. Today is busy for me as well. One of the neices has a soccer game today so who knows what is going to happen afterward. I feel the question in the air though... Can I go stay with nana, pop and auntie? My sis and her family that where living here are slowly putting the finishing touches on their house. They're trying to move in at the same time. Looks like painting projects will be in the future for me.
Rob: Your family is in my prayers. My parents are raising one and it takes all of us to help out. I can't imagine more.
I had better go, I need to get a few things done around here.
    Y'all have a blessed weekend.

The old question arises again, Why me, Lord? As a young minister, I wrestled with that question, and all I could come up with was, Because the Lord trusts you! Now that I am old and been through the fires, I can find no better answer.

Rob, I sympathize with you and wife. I love seeing my new grandson and holding him, but can't even conceive of trying to raise him. God bless you, mate, and He will provide the needed grace, as has been written, "My grace IS sufficient for thee."

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good Morning Everybody,

It is 63 and sunny here, headed for a forcasted high of 77.

Thanks everybody for all your prayers and support.

Maybe I'm over-reacting, maybe things will be different this time, maybe I'll be the first Baptist Pope too. Maybe I should bring in some cheese to go with my whine.

A very wise Woman who once was my friend told me once that I can't turn my back on things like this, that I'm not built that way. She is right, as she is about so many things.

A lyric from the theme to M*A*S*H comes to mind...Is it to be?, or not to be?, and I replied...Oh, why ask me? As Jim so wisely says our attitude should be Here I am Lord, take me. I apologize to all for my unbelief.

Not much going on here today. Have to go to the grocery...they called and said they were having trouble making payroll this week and wondered if it was time for me to do any shopping.

There's a problem with that cup Rmered.

    It's EMPTY!!!!!

Cuz, sometimes we just have to plod along, one step at a time and do what has to be done. I can imagine your frustration, though and I will continue to pray.

Still working on deep cleaning this house. It's going pretty slow. Maybe I'll be done by Christmas!

Have a good weekend all. I'm headed out to dinner and then home again to watch Auburn play while I work on my bedroom. Got to multitask you know!

    Evening all,

Or should I say good morning???

Brent is spending the week-end with his Aunt (my daughter, Laurie) and cousins in Indiana this week-end and I'm doing the Sunday papers by myself. That involves putting two inserts together and then putting them into the actual paper before rolling, banding, and delivering.

I am staying up in hopes that they deliver the actual papers to me so I can get them put together tonight. That way all I will have to do in the morning is deliver them.

I'm not waiting up much longer though.

    Pleasant dreams all!
