Our cat was a mix of orange, brown and black patches,,I think they call them tabby cats or such.

    Cheers,

Beautiful Fall Morning greetings to my friends. 60F and bright sunshine (sounds like a rerun) here in the Mountain West.

Will be 80 today! Another day and no word on the upcoming grandbaby. God's timing . .

Have a funeral to perform - pastor is out elk hunting and 89 year old man passed. Largest charismatic church, so hope they don't expect me to lay hands on the guy and raise him up.

That's not what I usually do!

Thanks Donna. It sure is painful. The other eye is starting to feel the strain of working alone.

I am going to try to nap for awhile. I will try to come back a little later.

Take care of yourself, Sue. We knew something must be wrong when you didn't come to the coffehouse last night. I really thought you might have had a reaction to the smoke. I can't breathe when people are burning leaves.

I keep telling all my people to use protective eye gear when working. I rely on my glasses to protect me, but I have retired from the yard work. I let the grandchildren do it, and I supervise.

Sue, I am sorry to hear about what happened to your eye. I know from experience that it can be very painful. Be sure to rest.

I just thought I would look in and see how everyone is doing. I am actually going to watch tv soon. Well try to anyway. There is an Agatha Christie film, a Miss Marple and I am a fan. And then Casualty. My usual attention/concentration span just about manages Casualty, which is 50 minutes long.

    Talk to you guys later.

    Blessings

Way to go, donna! I'm watching you in the rearview mirror. [IMG]

Long day for me. Wish I could rake some leaves!

Funeral, then a wedding of one of the girls I pastored 91-96 here in Casper. She'd gone to Hardin something College (we like some of the SBC schools) and as a senior God had led her to the right young man.

So a joy just to watch (best kind of wedding for me) and then fellowship with 20 or so former parishioners over lunch.

Now just tired and put my feet up and watch Notre Dame get whupped.

Was it a Texas School, Dr. Bob? The Hardins gave lots of money to the Texas Schools. For example, Hardin Simmons and then they saved my university from going under when it was Baylor Female College for Women (Can you believe that name?). They gave money and requested that the school be named Mary Hardin-Baylor. It is now the University of Mary Hardin Baylor located at Belton Texas. It was chartered before Texas became a State.

I believe Hardin Simmons is at Abilene.

Thanks Betty, well it seems I actually signed up while I was still posting at 2 other 'christian' boards, they turned out so bad, they allowed people to say anything they wanted about Jesus, some really horrorable things, they had no mod at all, I just couldn't take it anymore and left and came back here. So for the first year I posted fewer then 100. If I had stayed I'd be almost 10,000 by now.
