Morning everyone! We had a wonderful time of fellowship with Gib last night!

We picked him up at 5:00 at his hotel and went to a restaurant just down the road. We visited for 3 hours! He and Jim talked 'music' and he told us all about his family and we got to see pictures of Cheryl and the boys, Piper and even Gib's mom and dad. Gib is SO tall! (For some reason, hubby keeps telling me it's that I'm so short. LOL) Gib has a ponytail. (Had to add that for those women who're going to pm each other about my short hair.) We talked and talked. REALLY felt just like you'd gotten together with a friend you hadn't seen in a few months and not meeting for the first time!

Gib will be in class all day and then has a 6 hour drive home. Pray for his traveling safety!

Must get ready for swim lessons. I'll come back later and make sure everyone is behaving. Hit that DELETE button a LOT Dr. Bob! There's some meanies on that forum!

Roger,

There's no shame in double posting - Sue taught me that - real well!

Have a good day - resident church planter!

Dan - still in the mischief mode!

Oh.. Nick told me I forgot to tell you that Gib made him a necklace from a sharks tooth! Nick loves it and says he will never take it off. You can tell Gib is great with his boys and kids in general. Nick was right at home with him and he's shy sometimes. Of course, by time we left the restaurant, Nick had befriended all the wait staff and they were teasing him about having to wash the dishes or pay them $10.

Dan says somethin' to the effect----"Sue . . .shame . . .double postin'"

To which Prosecuting Attorney Blackbird asks:

"Did she or did she not teach-----no shame in double posting?? Or did she or did she not teach----double posting??? And Mister Todd---look Blackbird straight in the eye and explain to him---what exactly does double postin' look like!!"

Morning Dan (the mischief maker), Blackbird and Diane!

Blackbird: Sue double posted ONE TIME by accidently hitting reply twice (because the board was slow) and that ornery Dan Todd has been double posting and blaming it on me ever since!

Diane; Sounds like you had a great time! Wish I could have been there!

Now Gib has a picture to post on the BB! Webmaster can use the one you took and crop it to just his face.

For education and clarification for Blackbird...

This is what double posting looks like.

Blackbird - should I answer your questions without having my attorney present?

Probably not - but here goes.

Sue will tell you that her double posting was a mistake - I suggest to you that it was a big mistake - because I picked up on it and ran with it.

But you must remember that Sue is a moderator - and has powers to erase the applicable evidence - which I am sure she did - because you'll never be able to find it.

But she should just take the compliment gracefully - because she was/is and excellent double posting teacher! (How else do you think she could have 15,000 + posts in just over a year!

Dan - mischief is one of my middle names!

Dr. Bob is late getting up.
He was up late (or very early, according
to how one looks at it) snipping
thorns off the rose bushes.
Well that is cyber-thorns off the
cuber-rose-bushes. So here is an
early morning greeting when Dr. Bob
comes around:

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!

Likewise warm greetings to those who stumble
thru this room a-getting up!!!
(to numerous to name in a short time)

I back. Doing a little "salt" work. Some guy rang in to a national talk radio show accusing Child Evangelism Fellowship of driving children away from their families by sending out a children's Bible story book. Trying to contact CEF so they can respond.

Hello to you all, you have been quite chatty this morning.

We had a beautiful spring-like morning, and now it has clouded over and got chilly again. Never mind, a bit of sunshine was a real blessing.

We might take Leo out to the garden centre down the road this afternoon. He loves to go "shopping" and it is one of the few places we can take a dog. Of course, the garden centre is also one of my favourite places too, and we have some lovely ones around here.

Enjoy your day everyone,

God Bless

Sheila

Thank you Dan, but it is only 3 or 4 minutes away and I can "do" it in about half an hour.

I know what I am looking for, therefore I am on a mission. Very purposeful I am when I've a mind to be.

What is everyone else doing today then?

I'm patiently waiting for a black and white job to finish printing on the color printer - so I can print a color job on the color printer!

And it's not because there are no black and white printers in the office!

I'm not sure what it is - other than stupid!

Dan - frustrated!

OK - I'll try!

Sheila,

I was wondering - does Leo help you pick out your plants at the garden center?

Dan - always wanted a smart dog!

Dan, no he doesn't. He keeps everyone else amused. It can take twice as long to go there with him because people think he is so cute (which of course he is).
Usually, when I go to the garden centre I know exactly what I want. Rob is the impulse buyer. :D

I am sitting here sneezing, coughing, and blowing my nose. Bleccccccchhhhhhhhhh!

I look out the window and see nothing but white snow. Then I look at the pretty postcard, from NY, propped up in front of my computer and see all the beautiful green......makes me feel better!

It is boring being 'under the weather'.
