got up the strength to make it to choir/passion play rehersal tonight. didn't scare too many people with my purple eye. pastor said that things like my injury and other folks getting sick just proves that the devil doesn't want the gospel proclaimed in such a dramatic way, so he's trying to discourage us. but it takes more than that to stop the people of God. amen?

    Good for you Debbie! [IMG]

I guess this means you are feeling some better. You shouldn't push yourself to hard to fast though.

WOW! I can't believe no one posted all night! Dr. B. didn't even stop by!

I got a good night's sleep! I slept from around 10:00 last night until 5:00 this morning and only woke up twice (went right back to sleep).

I skipped my second Prednisone yesterday. I needed some sleep. I was getting worn out.

It is a crisp 31º here this morning with an expected high of 51º and, of course,

    Morning Sue...everyone:

It's a good start to the day here. Was 40 at 3:00 am. It's supposed to reach 58 today! Praise the Lord for that!

I took my prednisone last night and was restless, but didn't get up. I was too dizzy from driving yesterday to go and get my prescripts. I do good if I only have to drive a few miles, but yesterday...over 100 miles round trip. I still went to church last night...I had given my word that if I wasn't literally dead, I would be there, and God gave me the strength to keep that promise. I wasn't all there because of the meds, but it was good to be there in Bible study and the childrens time. The kids are so sweet and so willing and able to learn God's Word. They've almost reached their goal of $275.00 so that Bro. Monty (our pastor) will get several pies in the face...they're putting quarters in a long roll up to $500. If they reach that, he has to kiss Ms. Minnie's goat! LOL I'm gonna take in $10.00 worth of quarters for the kids to put in! They love that! The money goes to the Lottie Moon mission fund and it's good to teach kids about missions early.

Anyhow, I am breathing better today, thank the Lord. Still not able to take deep breaths, and still coughing a lot, but I'm alive! [IMG] (I know some of you aren't so sure I'm all here, though...LOL) ;)

Sue, glad you got a good nights sleep!

MK...thanks for that advice. I haven't been able to get the door down, and the contractor said to call the developer and let him know that a work order was on the way. These locks are really a mess because the developer kept picking them with his credit card when he couldn't remember where he stuck the keys to the house. So, I believe now he's going to have to replace them all, and this time it's going to be done right...no shaky door knobs (I've tightened them once, but they've been pressed up and down while he was picking the locks), and the keys will go in and out smoothly this time...he used a pick to do it several times, too! So, he's just going to have to replace them. As long as it's under warranty, I'm letting THEM fix the problems! LOL Anyhow, I truly am not physically strong enough to do much right now, and that is very hard on me. I mean, I'm used to being able to throw 200-300 lbs around easily. Now I'm lucky if I can pick up 25 lbs for very long. I run out of breath after just a few steps. But, I have a feeling that that will be changing with this medication and the nebulizer!

    Thanks, Tony.

The only reason I got a good night's sleep was because I took my Prednisone yesterday morning, but skipped it last night!

I will get back on schedule today. I just needed some [IMG] ...

I see the sun coming up! Maybe it won't rain until after the corner and papers today. I don't care if it rains during the night, but I really can't afford to be out in the rain right now.

(The doctor is going to order me a Nebulizer too.) [IMG]

Sue, I really thought I was too young for a Nebulizer, but apparently not. Dr Mark said he's got several patients who are using Nebulizers who are in their early 20's because of asthma. I guess I just never truly realized how serious asthma was until this past weekend.

I used not to think Bronchitis was a big deal either, Tony. But I have certainly learned differently this past winter. :(

Jim's had a nebulizer for many years. In fact, he had 2. One for home and one for work. Our insurance paid for both of them. They sure do help! He's using his every day right now but hadn't used it in maybe 2 years.

I had a weird night. I slept from about 9:30 til 12:15 and then was wide awake til well after 3:00. Patches got up beside me and curled up against my chest, purring really sweetly. I enjoyed that affection. [IMG]

I have little Jack in an hour for a short time while his mother goes for a check up. She has asthma too. Then I have Max from about 1:30 til 6:15, depending on the traffic.

Jim has to work tomorrow I THINK. Cook's is a Christian owned and operated company but the guys are commission so a day off means no money! Jim tries to work every Saturday, too.

Gotta go shower. Talk to you all later.

I thought you were sleeping in for a week?

How can Jim work, right now, while he is so sick?

He is a better person than I am. These last bouts have laid me low...

Pray for me today at about 12:30.

I will be speaking to FCS and FCA students about Easter. I will be reading primarily from Luke, but I will also be sharing from passages all over the Bible.

I want them to know that Jesus died for them, but I want them to understand why He had to and why He was the only one who could.

    Peace-
    Scarlett O.

    Good Morning all!

You're right Sue, it was quiet around here last night. Chruch must have worn everyone out!

You must have sent that predisone down to me last night. Long about 4:30 I hit an energy sprut and got up and accomplished a bunch of stuff. That after sitting around all day unmotivated.

I hope today is better in the motivation catagory. I need to finish Bitsy's dress and make sure Son's suit fits. AND I need to find myself something to wear Sunday. Problem is, it is supposed to nasty here Sunday with lots of rain and storms. What I have to make for myself is sleeveless and I don't have a sweater to match.

Oh well, I'll figure out later.

    See ya!

Hi Granny! I remember Brer Rabbit. Thank YOU for the memories... ;)

I am wearing the same thing for Easter that I have worn for the past several years. I don't think God will mind. [IMG]

I am off to the corner. The sun is shining right now. It is supposed to rain later today and the rest of the week though, including Sunday!

I have to run by the grocery store before we come home and start school today, but I will be around a little later...

    Scarlett, will definitely be praying.

Diane, I have several relatives on nebulizers, and all of them seem to be doing very well with them. I know after that breathing treatment the other day, I could breath a lot easier. The man just called a few minutes ago, and the doctor had faxed the company the old address (the apts we just moved from in Dec), and that's where it sits. I had to give them new directions, and they are going to go pick it up and deliver it to me today.

I finally got my front door opened. Oh, brother...what a mess. The plate is not set right for one, and the handle is about shot from Garrett's shenanigans! I've requested he replace all of the locks on the house since they all work on one key. I've been very patient and kind with this gentleman, because he's sort of backwards mentally and emotionally, is a Nam Vet, men whom I have great respect for, and he's made his way the hard way and been taken advantage of so many times. He doesn't know the Lord, and I've been witnessing to him. He's been married six times and is living with a woman now and asked me what the Bible said about it, though he's been to church and I believe he already knows. But, as long as he's asking, I believe the Lord might be working. I can't lose the opportunity to witness to him.

Granny...great to see ya! [IMG] Miss seeing you. Hope all is well.

Sue, Jim worked MONDAY~ He's still on meds for the pneumonia too. I tell you guys what a hard worker he is, sick or not! Last night he got home from his last appointment at 7:30.

Easter dress.... hummmm.... Guess I'll wait and see which old dress fits on Saturday. LOLOL I have some that will be too big and some too small. It's to be 70° but rainy here on Easter. All my spring dresses are sleeveless! I got Nick a suit at the consignment shop. I had to let the hem out and have it cleaned but he's all set. Jim has lots of suits since he had to wear them for work for so many years.

I don't have Ty all week but have Jack today. His mom had a doctor's appointment so he got here at 9:00. Anything other than getting up at 5:30 is sleeping in for me! LOL

I just got a call from the church about a family wanting 'mom's day out' care 2 mornings a week for a 15 month old little girl. It would start in late April or May. I have my eye surgery the middle of April so that's perfect.

Tony, are you sure that's not my brother Michael? He's been married 6 times, also.

No sleeves is the problem with all mine too, Diane! Even the ones I haven't made yet. I hate sleeves when it get hot. Don't like 'em much any other time.

A two day a weeker sounds just like what you've been needing. Good for you!

Tony, the plate not being set right will mess up the handle as well. I'd be kind of scared to have a developer who had a "talent" for unlocking doors without a key.

I tend to make more on those children than full week kids, per hour. Jack's mother pays me $4.75 an hour.
