The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies and homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

Thanks! I didn't think I would enjoy the planning process but I am finding some of it really fun. I already have so much of it done in a short time. Really the only big thing I have left to figure out is the cake and photographer.

mmmm. sounds tasty. has to be room temperature though. I don't like them warm although I do think I could drink the glaze if it was served to me in a cup.

chipsgirl, I don't like them warm, either. They taste like hot dough. There was a very pretty picture of one posted here on the BB several months back. Can't remember which forum. Maybe you could do a search. But you would probably have to be a really big KK fan to want one!! [IMG]

Is this day ever going to end? I'm about to start gnawing on my fingers and toes. They are beginning to resemble little buffalo wings.

    WHOO HOO! Congratulations!

    My anniversary is April 6!
When I was married, that was the day before Palm Sunday. So we had Easter week for a honeymoon.

Congrats Chipsgirl! Oh and welcome back too!

    Howdy Everyone!

Another day, another carpet to clean. Actually, I only have one carpet left in the house to clean and because of the laundry, I can't get to it! I managed to get the living room and dining room done today, and the laundry should be just about finished by this evening. I've told the kids that if they mess the house up before Christmas, that Santa's not coming! I've cleaned out enough corners full of toys and scrubbed enough stains(and airheads) out of my carpets. I have to say though the carpets look very nice and came cleaner than I thought they would(they always do).

To keep up my energy today, I'v been eating peanut butter balls that Son made yesterday! MMMMmmmmm!

My headache is almost gone once I broke down and took some medicine. Since allegra, advil and tylenol wasn't cutting it, a friend of my suggested taking some sudafed and guifenisen together. That took care of it. Thank goodness too, cause I was about ready scream.

Gotta go get the slave labor busy dusting and washing walls. :D They actually think this is fun. That's good cause I hate it and I've done just about enough today. I'm going to straighten up the kitchen and get supper together.

    Ya'll have fun.

chipsgirl, just one word of advice: ELOPE! Laugh now but let's have this discussion again about the 21st of March! [IMG]

    You'll be saying, "I should've listened to padre, I should've bought that ladder at Home Depot, I should've, would've, could've....

    BTW, what was Chip's reaction?

Sorry about your headache Menagerie. Those are NO fun at all.

Hey actually we wanted to elope. (The ladies here on BB and I discussed this way back in the spring)
His parents were against it and offered to help us out so we took the offer. We won't be out too much financially so I can't complain.

Padre you mean my reaction to the ring? Well I was in shock. I really didn't think I would get one. We discussed getting married without doing an engagement ring so it was a real surprise when he got down on one knee. I must have been lost or something cause he had to ask me twice. I was too busy staring at the ring. It's VERY sparkly (25 diamonds in all....ooh lala)

I prayed and prayed for this relationship to work out. I felt kind of silly praying for a man to fall in love with me but it worked. God always listens no matter what. I still can't believe it.

I can see it now, make up ruined, snot running down your nose while you're staring at the rock unable to speak. Guys really like that snotty nose thing. The tears are a little hard to take because we think we did something more stupid than usual and got caught.

Did you tell the cat yet?

The cats moved in already since my fiance (hehehehe) has a house. Chip (the older cat) has been attacking more than usual. I'm not sure he's pleased by another man being in my life. His eyes are turning greener and greener each day.

Good evening, everyone! Congratulations again, Chipsgirl.

My Muffin is sick or nervous or something! He started out this morning panting as if he were extremely hot. It was cold outside and the house was the usual temperature. He would not eat, not any of his special treats. He did not take his usual morning nap. He would not go outside. I called the vet. They made an appointment for him, but thought he would probably settle down...that he was just nervous from the strong winds. He acted as if he were emabarrassed...maybe he was because he got his tail in the oil paint and I had to wash his tail.

I gave him a cool bath in case he really was overheated. I tried holding him, but nothing would work. So we went to the doctor. He perked up and was a happy boy while he was a the doctor's office. Doc couldn't find anything wrong, but suggested blood tests. We will get the results tomorrow.

As soon as he arrived home, he started acting the same way, as if he were afraid of something.

He stayed awake all day, but he is asleep on a pillow on the sofa, so maybe he will be fine when he awakes.

So I have been nervous all day with a nervous dog.

Hope you all have a good night.

    Betty

If you don't mind I'll just refer this "cat" crisis to the experts standing by at Pit Stop # somethingorother. Their expertise in these delicate matters will be a big help as you move into this new and exciting time in your life.

    Hay Y'all!

That's Southern for Hello Folks :D

The cold front is supposed to get here Thursday. Right now it is 11:42 pm and 68 degrees! Talked to my Mama in OKC tonight and she said it's been cold and windy all day. They're trying to keep the thermostat at 70 so the gas bill won't be Extremely high. Natural gas prices have been forecasted to go up about 60% last they heard.

We got a notice rom our Electric Co-op in early summer that they were raising rates by 7%. And sure 'nough they did. Nothing since the hurricanes, though, PTL!

    Congratulations and welcome back, Chips!

    Hope Muffin feels better tomorrow.
