    G'morning all,

Slept in late. Fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts on counter.

    1 box cake
    2 boxes glazed
3 boxes assorted. Powdered, jelly, apple, bavarian creme, sprinkled, and creme. Enjoy!

Oh, and napkins are on the table next to the 3 trays of Starbucks coffee. Be careful, contents may be hot. There... you were properly warned (recording the warning just in case a lawyer calls me later).

Quarter to eleven and I need a nap already!
I went out and got Anna a guardrail for her bed. It had to be assembled. It is now assembled. If she wasn't busy MAKING the bed again I'd have probably jumped right in it myself! I looked for a dark blue one like we used to have, but none such luck. It's pure white, but that should be ok since it can be taken off and washed. Her old one couldn't do that.

I've got a few things I'd like to work on today, so I'm up and at 'em! Everyone have a great holiday, as we thank God for people like Martin Luther King, who was willing to stand up against unjust government and speak up for the PEOPLE!

    Good--uh--afternoon everyone!

    Mmmm, coffee's still warm. [IMG]

It's been an odd day here at the menagerie. No schedule whatsoever. T had to work today so the day started early but nothing has gotten done in its usual order. At the moment, I'm working on Bitsy a fairy pillow, quilting on the first of three wildlife quilts and cooking lunch for 5 kids. The kids are all playing various video games on different systems around the house(how was I supposed to know we only had two controllers for the gamecube? Take turns already!). I'd have them outside but it is cold and damp and I've just gotten them well.

Whatever was causing my dizzyness yesterday is completely gone today. Thank goodness! If I wanted to be drunk, I could think up better ways to get there. ;)

I'll just eat my donut here and not let the kids know. If they find out there are KK's they'll demolish all six boxes!

I think I'll throw them a sheet cake together. I saw a cake mix under the counter.

    See ya'll.

Yes, He is Wonderful Bro. Ed! In fact that is one of His name. [IMG]

Just got back from the City and at 05:00 PM it was still light in town. Seems like we are getting the days longer. December 21st (the shortest day of the year) at 04:00 PM it was already dark. Good to get home and still be able to see without the lights. [IMG] [IMG]

Me And BH ARE BA....c..k!! Just got in a bit ago from all the runnin' around I had to do. BH is on the floor (after a 1 round tournament,...which SHE won) licking my cap for salt! I would buy a salt wheel but she seems to prefer the hat!! Go figure!!
I actually got to work today, Thank the Lord!!
Agee is at work, Jerry is asleep. so it's me & BH!!
We moved the freezer out of this room Sat. into the "Sewing" room so BH is tyrin' to figure out what's missin'. So far she's buried 2 acorns & 1 Bugle (the snack) I put a brighter bulb in the ceiling fan so she wouldn't spook as easy. Seems to work.
Gonna have to shut down for awhile & work on this old puter. Agee said she was on it today & it started acting like me.....crazy!! Try to get back on before too long!hhhhhh r olll mlp
888888;- 3 7yt Bh says hello!! in tap dancin'!!!

Preacher, I gave up my old computer not long back. For a while, it was hooked into the switcher and I could use both of them. I should have left it that way. Most of my links are on the old computer that is now collecting dust--somewhere. Supposedly T is going to transfer some files that we need kept to somewhere else and then reconfigure it for Bitsy. He said he'd retrieve my links then. I probably won't need them by that time.

Been quiet in the coffee house today. I'm just having a cup of tea before starting the evening shift. My day never did get on it's routine. I forgot the kids dentist appointment. Can't believe I did that. I remembered about 5, the appointment was at 2. That's what having sick kids for a week will do for a woman's brain. I do remember telling them last week when they called that we were all sick, so they should have been prepared for it. I didn't remember that until 5:30, after the panic attack.

Gotta go change the thread on the sewing machine. I almost have the fairies all embroidered on Bitsy's pillow.

    Good tea!

It has been a very busy day here, too.

Not much time for reading and posting on the BB!

Maybe not so much to do tomorrow!

    Good night all. [IMG]

This must be the day for 'hectic'. I've had people (10 of them) running in and out of here all day!

Laura, Seth, Noah, Levi and Brent are back in Illinois, but they are at a basketball game right now. They are all spending the night here so I have their blankets and pillows laid out.

It is an 'away' game and they won't be home until 10/11 so I am going to bed.

    Pleasant dreams all!

Greetings to all from SOGGY TENNESSEE! [IMG]

I think the angels left the faucet on while they were cleaning and patching the "Holes in the Floors of Heaven"! LOL;) It has rained here nearly all night last night and will be raining all day today. Our back yard has huge puddles in the low lying areas, as do the neighbors yards. From what the news reporters said there are a lot of places on the roads with huge amounts of standing water. I hope Vivian drives slower than usual or she'll tear the exhaust off of the car.

The creek here is flooding. We're not really sure how far up it will come, but don't believe it will reach any of the houses here in the little stretch of homes.

I've put the coffee on, so it should be ready soon. There is an apple streudle coffee cake, too, and a 6 pk of Dr. Pepper for those who enjoy it. [IMG]

    Have a blessed day, ya'll.

    Good morning all,

It's in the low thirties here and there is a 60% chance of snow today and tomorrow. The rain will reach us by Thursday.

My overnight 'visitors' are still sleeping, but I'm thinking they will be up soon as Laura has to drive back to Indiana and work today.

I will stop back in after everyone is either in school or on the road.

    TTFN!

Tony, I think you got our rain! Maybe we were not specific enough when we prayed for rain.

Lord, we need rain in OKLAHOMA! Please send it our way. Thank you. Amen.

Sue, I'm sure you'll let us know how that works out. I'm not familiar with what that is, so I'll have to look it up later.

Well, it's another rainy morning, nothing new. The girls are at school, I went to mine and came home to deal with stomach cramps, but will go back in a little.
Good news as far as Anna and her speech development appt., they just called and she'll be seen Feb. 1st in Eugene. That's closer than Portland, and will save a few hours.

The girls were so cute this morning. It's career day, which means they all dress up as what they want to be when they're older. The oldest is a lawyer, of course. She's certainly got a sense of direction, she started this a few years ago and hasn't given up. She rents books on law from the library and keeps asking about the different types of lawyers. She borrowed a briefcase type thing to help with her appearance as that today. She was going to borrow a tie but we forgot.

The second is a detective. She wore a tan overcoat of mine, trench coat looking thing, and is carrying a magnifying glass. Her and her friends solve mysteries at school, it's too funny! Like who wrote on the bathroom wall. They actually figured that one out and reported it to the office and the poor kid who did it got suspended.

Anna is an "artiste". She tried to get into the few paintbrushes I have left, but I nipped that one fast as they're sables. I had some crayola ones and think she found those. Hehe, nice and cheap, and YES you can use those for oils! Anyhow, she also took a palette she made and wore old pants and a big old shirt.
It'll be fun if we have to all be seen in public for any reason after school. [IMG]

I hope you all have a great day! It's time to brave the icy tundra, swim the raging waters, and get back to classes. I should get bonus points just for showing up!

Going to the hospital to see my former daughter-in-law, and her newborn son.

The baby was born Saturday with Spinal BiFida (open spine). Please pray that he isn't paralyzed from the waist down. More details are available in the prayer request forum.

    Thanks,
    Rob

Whoo hoo! Guess what I saw today?

Someone's forsythia was in full bloom. Harbinger of spring, I hope! It was a bright spot on this otherwise glum, gloomy, rainy day.

So many folks sick today. I'll add the third and hopefully complete the cycle. Son has a horrible migraine today. After trying to break it up at school with Midrin and Relpax, we finally had to admit defeat and bring him home to the heavy stuff. Sigh.....we had a record going of 14 weeks and three days with no headache.

Poor baby FoG. So little to have such a big health problem. I'll be praying.

Sue, I'll be praying for Levi as well. I had to look up what they think he has. Scarey.

We expect older folks to have problems as our bodies begin to age (and fall apart). To see the young folks dealing with such serious problems makes me sad.
