Well, one day ended & another has begun. BH helped me put the finishing touches on the business cards, all I have to do is print them.
Still have the letter to do but I have a rough draft in my head (at least BH can't get in a fight with that & tear it up. Yes she wrestles with any kind of paper!) Mabey it'll still be there tomorrow evening!!
Thanks for all the suggestions for BH, I hope I'm wrong about needing a permit in NC but if so I will get one. BH said she didn't know ya'll cared that much. She had big ole squirrely tears in those big ole eyes!(She don't like crocodiles so forget those kinda' tears). The reason I've gotten jumpy about her is that this area is a huge hunting & fishing area, & I did at times have BH with me in town doing my running around. She's a regular at the Dollar General!! But not for awhile now. I tease Agee about if I wasn't married BH would make a great lady magnet....good as a baby!! She's still a good attraction for the younguns though!
BH is telling me to go on & let her do her job. So I'll turn out the lights, & don't worry ...the cocoa will be alright, she learned about "HOT" objects at an early age when she used to follow Agee into the kitchen to get a snack.
Night All & have a blessed Day at Church!

    Good morning all,

Wow! I slept in until almost 7:00 this morning! That is VERY unusual for ME...

BH may be a little hyper this morning. She found 1/2 cup of 'cold' cocoa and drank it. She was running in circles the last time I saw her...

Putting the coffee on now and fixing a big breakfast. Any who are up are welcome to join me.

    HAGD!

Hmmm, the coffee house is quiet this morning. Good, more coffee for me!

I probably don't need it. I woke up drunker than a boiled owl about 6:30 this morning. Took some allegra thinking it might be my sinuses and went back to sleep. Slept good but woke up just as drunk. Funny feeling to be laying in bed and watching the room spin circles around me. Finally decided to get up and have some coffee and discovered that it isn't constant but seems to depend on how I move and what I'm doing. So no sudden moves for me today. That in turn makes me wonder if this is a neck problem. I tried out a new pillow last night and had to change back to the old one. Kept waking up with numb arms, burning shoulders and my neck hurting.

Going to stay home an watch the playoffs today, since I'm obviously in no shape to drive.

T is spoiling the cat and the kids are still playing Mario party. All in all should be a good day for me to be down.

    Ya'll have a good one.

Cindi, I get this periodically. It is not an ear infection, but the bubble in the center of my ear, for some reason, gets off center.

My doctor recommended I take Dramamine. It works every time, but it is a few days before I can tilt my head, or bend over, without everything spinning...

    Good afternoon, All.

Lovely day at church! Good fellowship! Good Worship, singing, and preaching!

We are still praying for rain! The only distractions this morning was that the wind kept blowing all the outdoors open and then it would cause inner doors to open and close and sometimes slam. Well, it kept everyone awake.

We went out to eat. Our kids stood us up today so we enjoyed our time together.

What playoffs, Cindi? I don't think I have been keeping up with sports.

    Time for my nap.

    Betty

LOL Padre! But T was spoiling the cat, not boiling her. My man is a cat lover not a cat hater. [IMG]

I seem to be out from "under the influence", at least for the time being. It's still kind of there, but hanging just off the edge to where it isn't bothering me.

No rest for the weary--or the sick. I've cleaned some, sewn some and worst of all, helped Son do a weeks worth of homework in one afternoon. Wouldn't have been nearly so bad if he'd of just gotten busy instead of complaining. He finally had to have his attitude adjusted and the voila!, the homework was done and done correctly! Isn't that just amazing?

Thankful, the pros are playing the games that will decide who goes to the superbowl. These are about the only pro games that I bother to watch.

Normal? There's no one normal here, not even the squirrel. ;)

    Good evening,
Will fishies die because the water is too cold?
We got three Saturday week ago. One croaked Wednesday, one this morning, and the one that's left is alternating between floating on it's side and swimming. It is a 1-gallon tank, I changed about 1/4 of the water Friday. The water is not cloudy at all.

Let's make sure the chocolate is put away so BH doesn't huirt herself tonight.

    Blessed Morning all:

It's actually quite nice out this morning...a little nippy, but nice. It's 48. We're supposed to get some rain this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow! [IMG] We need it.

Hope all is going well with ya'll. I've not been able to check in for the past few days because of computer glitches and time restraints.

    Remember....

Be good, Be kind, Be careful

    Good morning all,

The closest I have ever been to 'normal' is when I actually go to the town of Normal (about 40 miles up the road). Other than that, it would be abnormal for me to be 'normal;...

Yesterday was a sad day. I do not enjoy going to the funeral of my friends - especially when they are younger than me. I have decided to make a few phone calls this week and get in touch with friends I haven't seen in a while.

    HAGD!

    Afternoon all,

Sue's comment about Normal caught my eye. I have one Normal supporting church (in Normal, IL ;) ). Does that make all my other supporters abNormal?

I also went through Hell on the way to a meeting in Detroit one time.

Hell is a part of Ann Arbor, MI ;)

Yes Gayla. You need a tank with a heat regulator and air bubbles if you want fish to live.
Also, if you're using tap water, let it sit for two reasons...one is to let chemicals dissipate, the other is to let it reach room temperature. Drastic temp changes can injure fish...that's why they tell you to let them float in their new tank, still in their bag, before you release them. It lets them get used to the temperature change slowly. If you see a fish floating sideways that was otherwise healthy, it's usually conserving energy because it's cold or had a sudden temperature change. (anyone's who has totally cleaned a tank and not regulated the temp before putting fishies back in has seen that)

Good morning Brethren AVL1984, Preacher, [C4K[/b], Sistren Sue, and [/b]da Gina[/b]! :thumb:

You remind me of my journey over 10 years ago, as I was traveling between the Hungarian Baptist Churches in Detroit, MI and Chicago, IL. It was the dead of winter, plenty snow on the road, and they reported a storm coming up from Atlanta, GA. I thought I get a head start on the storm so I got up at 04:00 AM in the morning and headed to Chicago. When I reached Battle Creek (appropriate name) MI a sudden head wind turned my car to the right. I was on the middle lane. My car had it's own mind and after I tried to correct the side drift, it seemed to settle down. The truck, which was about to pass me on the right lane, pulled back and allowed me to straighten out. The truck driver then pulled forward and passed me on the right. I was still shaken up by the experience eased off on the speed but the draft behind the truck made me drift toward the left and within seconds my car turned a 180 and was facing the traffic. Then in a few seconds the car was going down the embankment and down full speed to the bottom of the ditch - dividing the two directions of the highway. I glanced behind me and have seen that there were two cars down there already and I was heading full speed toward one of them. At that moment I had only one thought: "Lord, I am in your hands!" And after a horrific bang and being propelled about 25 feet from the car I hit, I looked over myself for sign of blood but have seen none. Then as the people were running toward my car to help me out, I uttered these simple words: "Thank you Lord!" Then people came to the door and asked me if I was alright? I said that I was. My car, a Chevy Impala, on the other hand was a total loss. The front was completely squashed in on the right. The axle broke, the passenger side mirror was sitting on the front seat with all the metals and glass particles around it. The left side and back of the car was smacked in. The Police had to use a crow bar to open the trunk and get my luggage out. I wouldn't call Battle Creek, MI a hell though, for it was there that I have experienced again the wonderful deliverance of the Lord. After all the details were exhausted by the Police and the Tow Truck driver, I was taken to a car rental place (right at the local airport) and I was continuing driving to Chicago, MI where I had to meet a director to secure us a place for the upcoming annual meeting of the Hungarian Baptist Convention at that year. Hope you folks will have a blessed day in the Lord! [IMG]
