Sue....I can understand the reservations, but we have to remember our Father is in charge!!! I tried to cut jokes & all when I had my heart-attack, but I was concerned...mainly cause me & Agee had only been married 5 months when it happened. But...me & her both trusted that HE would take care of things, & HE did...& still does!!! GLORY!!!!
I don't know what to say that would make you feel more at ease...but remember...HE IS still on the THRONE!!!!

    Test Results

Well, my fears came true. I am still sniffling and I haven't called my kids yet, so I will make this short.

It seems that I have already had a small heart attack as my heart is damaged.

I started on three heart meds as soon as I left the doctor's office.

I have an appointment with the cardiologist July 5th to set up a heart catherization.

Then I will need from 1 to 5 stents put in.

    Am I afraid?

    I'm petrified.

I will write more when I digest all of this and settle down some.

    Please, please keep praying.

Sue, I has been said that we often worry about the things that never happen. How true that statement has been down through the years. Whilst things may seem out of place, it could be worse. Most victims of heart ailments recover to normalcy in short order with proper care. It could be a stroke which leaves permanent damage and often impossible hurdles for the balance of one's life.

Cheer up, as others have said, He is on His throne and cares more for us than we can ever image. Your board family is behind you all the way.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Another glorious sunny day. It is such a delight just to walkabout in the garden, and enjoy nature.

    Cheers,

    Good Morning everyone!

Leastwise I think it was. Seems like I slept through most of it. Going to take a bit of a break from cleaning this weekend. Have a couple of little things I want to do, but nothing heavy.

Cass and Chris are over their Chinese food induce migraines at last! And all without trips to the doc. My dogs got accused of chasing the neighbors cat (again), but my dogs were still tied in the backyard. Someone else's husky was at fault.

I really need to get up and get dressed. My inlaws are coming up sometime today. The pool is almost as warm as bath water so they are coming to swim.

Gotta get T a haircut today and pick up some stuff at the store. Of all things I could forget, I forgot the coffee filters. And the dogs and guinea pigs would appreciate it if I bought them some food too.

    Sue, I'll keep praying.

Jim, you're a handsome man. New pic looks good!

    Good morning all,

I have been up a long while, but just got around to checking in. I am more settled today (thank you, Lord!).

It takes me a while to absorb shocks and deal with them.

I'm still not completely at peace, but I know who holds my future and I know that He loves me and will never leave me. Life goes on and this too shall pass...

Our Courier is celebrating it's 150th year and Brent (along with his Boy Scout troop) is helping serve up free lunches at the Courier office. I just got the patches sewn on his "Class A" shirt and he looked so grown up and handsome in his khaki uniform. :love2:

I am going to lay down on the couch for a bit before I pick him up this afternoon. I was going up there for awhile, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do and what I'm not supposed to do while waiting for the 'procedures'. I know if I'm around crowds, I'm apt to pick up a cold or something and that wouldn't be too good.

    HAGD!

Thank you for the kind words about the photo. I thought I had it small enough to post, but it needs a little more trimming. I am slow at doing these things,,,,perhaps if I just shave....

    Blessed Lord's Day everyone.

Been peaceful and fairly quiet around the menagerie. Enjoyed a lovely church service this morning where we saw several children present themselves for baptism. Results of the VBS we missed. Had another one baptised this morning. Big news of the day is that the pastoral search committee has found someone they wish to make our senior minister. We'll get to hear him preach and make a formal decision in a few weeks.

Gonna stick some spaghetti on the stove and then take a swim, I believe. Tommorrow starts a new week. :) :(

We really need the rain & it looks as if we're gonna get it!! The whole Triad is in a flood watch\warning till sometime tuesday.

    Good morning all,

Preacher, sounds like you'd better 'batten down the hatches'. We got quite a lot of rain here yesterday and are expecting it every day through Thursday.

The grass needs mowing as Brent was in church camp all last week. I may send him out to mow sections at a time, in between the rain, or it will get too high for our old hand mower to handle.

It has cooled off some and that is good. I believe it will be 75º today and in the low 80's the rest of this week.

Well, I guess it makes sense that we've got rain in the forecast too since preacher does.

I have lapsed into summeritus quite nicely. It's been after 8a.m. most mornings for about a week now that I've gotten up. :sleeping_2:

It would appear that liquid sunshine is the order of the week for us too. Considering the weather procrastinators are predicting the driest summer on record, the rain is quite welcome.

Good morning to all. With 3 acres to mow, I do a little each day anyways, but not when it is wet. That just clogs the mower. It can wait. I have more important things to do, like sitting in my chair and watching the day go by.

Hey, I tried shrinking my newer photo and ended up with an elongated head. I need more computer expertise.

    The computer is apologetic
    And it is my friend.
    It never, ever does offend;
    It reasons just like me.

The computer is my friend, you see
It waits for me to press its' keys.
    Our conversations are replete
Until I press the key "delete".

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good Morning Everyone!

After I added water to the pool last night, not expecting more rain after the "cold front" that moved through here Saturday, it began to POUR buckets. Now my pool is overflowing. It must have rained a good inch last night, just all of a sudden. Don't know what the forecast is for today. It is pleasant outside but too wet to mow what needs mowing! Not going to mow the front until it recovers some from this hot, dry spell we've had. Just gonna weedeat a bit.

Today will be bits and pieces day. Which means I'm going to do a bit of this and a piece of that until I feel like I've accomplished something and then I'm going to stop. This weeks project is to get the wall paper off two of the bathroom walls and paint them. I know what color I'm painting the kids, but still deciding about ours. Our bath is two little rooms, so the color has to be light! The kids is going to be a light aqua color. I'm doing a tropical fish theme in there. Already have fabrics for the shower and window curtain. Get this, the kids found a blue lucite commode seat with tropical fish embedded in it. They ought to end up with one interesting bathroom! Hopefully they'll start using it instead of mine!

Gotta go get started on those bits and pieces.......

    See ya!

Oh yeah, Jim, if you have Adobe's Photoshop, it shrinks pics automatically. How do you think I managed my avatar? :D I'm not smart enough to do it manually.

Thank you. Let's see if it works..

I have three different photo shops, but it takes a bit of genius to make any of them work. Funny, I used to be that genius when I had the old computer. Since I switched to whatever this one is called..program, I mean, I have been totally out of the picture....pun intended.

    Cheers,

    Jim
