That is pretty outrageous. People that think like these butchers think cannot see the evil.
If somehow they could see it, I doubt they would care. To me, this sin is so evil, it should ceer the conscience of an unsaved person. A second reason for the statement could be the this doctor might think he is next, and comparing the murder of the other doctor to MLK might make someone think twice.

Abortion is the scourge of this nation. It has gone on thirty six years as offical policy. How long does God's patience last?

I think the context is that MLK died for an oppressed people, which is true, and this doctor died for an "oppressed group" those who would exercise their legal rights to an abortion. It is a ridiculous comparison.
