I have a lot of games that I play on the computer, but neither of the ones you mentioned.

I was hunting for a new game at Best Buy the other day and saw Call of Duty 4 (and have heard it referred to in the tv series "Chuck" a few times), but the $59 price tag scared me away. Or was it $49? Either way, I wouldn't pay that much for a game unless it was exactly what I was looking for.

I ended up paying $19 to try Lord of the Rings Online for a month (by then I have either beaten or grown tired of the limitations/flaws in most games unless they have a community and large world to play in, like an MMO). I don't plan to continue with LotRO. /shrug

    Mostly, I play chess programs.

    How is Call of Duty?

I play Battlefield 2 and a little CoD4. I got CoD4 because several in my BF2 clan are playing it now. I stink at it. :p It is a cool game, though... just very different from BF2.

There are a couple of us in my church who play CD4 and we're looking for older quieter types to play online with.

All this running and gunning does nothing for us and we're clueless about all the different online games for CD4 and how to play them. any help or pointers you could give would be appreciated.

With COD4, the basic strategy seems to be hids and shoot whoever happens to come by. At least that's how my exploits seem to go.

I prefer BF2 by a long shot. It may be a couple of years old, but it still good for online play.

I would recommend my clan, but you said "quieter types" and they ain't that. Most are not Christians, and they can be a rough bunch. I am witnessing to some of them, but they don't realize it yet. ;) I am not the only Christian on there, thankfully.

We do run some servers, two for BF2 and two for COD4. Search for ERR in either game.
