Congressman: Obama is Blackmailing General Petraeus Into Silence on Benghazi

Representative Louie Gohmert, R. Texas, put forth that General Petraeus knows information that “would destroy any credibility that this administration might still have nationally and internationally” regarding the 2012 Benghazi incident.

Gohmert argues the administration has threatened prosecution of the General to assure his silence and to diminish the potential credibility of his account.

Petreaus has played the role of the good soldier and maintained silence regarding the administration’s talking points about the Benghazi incident.

Gohmert describes the antics of the Obama administration, including the weaponizing the IRS, as taking bully tactics to levels the Nixon administration would envy.

If there's any credibility to this, the solution is easy. Gen. Petraeus should take away the ability to be blackmailed.
