    What this demonstrates is not that Officer Darren Wilson was or was not right in shooting Michael Brown. What this demonstrates is that the task we ask of uniformed officers every day across America is a dangerous one that requires them to engage with people who, without warning, is liable to attack.

    It is easy to armchair-quarterback the decisions made by officers, but too few remember to note the danger police officers face when encountering a suspect who does not want to be apprehended.
