Copying from PDF

    Can anyone give a simple method of copying & pasting from a “PDF” document?

    Normally just mark, copy and paste to another program.

    If you mean copy paste within the pdf you can't without a pdf program.

    The newer versions allow you to save a .txt file then you can cut and paste to your heart's content :)

    You can then make it back into a .pdf with Word, Word Perfect or there are a number of free .pdf writers available online.

    If your still having trouble, I think there is a way for the author to have disabled the copy feature as part of protecting the file. I think I've run across that a few times with PDF, but it is a rare thing.
