A lot of people have been a bit petty and crabby lately.
Can't we all just get along? :D
I know it's the holiday season and all and people are on edge and stressed, but can't we just go pick on the other denoms or something instead of ourselves? ;)

If people would just agree with me on everything, I see no reason why we couldn't get along amicably. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

No man is an island. But man, sometimes I wish I could buy one and keep everyone I don't like OUT.

I'd get bored after about a week, but sometimes I get so frustrated I want to cry.

Frustration IS a pain to deal with! So everyone, how can we deal with frustration without getting crabby with other people? [IMG]

I agree, there is way too much being taken personally here! Let people posts their thoughts without verbal accusations.....it is really sad. Obviosly,we are not going to agree 100% on everything, but we can respond biblically and in the right spirit...

The discussions can be edifying and we can learn a lot from others,or....we can bash in every idea and criticize eachother over everything.

It is getting way to personal.....and the tone I am perceiving is often angry.

Lets' be sweet spirited and teachable, and God-fearing...

A trip to the "All other discussions" board or "Clean humor" board can work wonders.

Counting to a million after someone has ignored your point for the zillionth time also helps.

Or just leave it alone to let the thread stew in its own juice. When it becomes obvious that neither party (or parties) will give, it becomes pointless to keep chewing up bandwidth.

BTW: I once discovered that another BB member and I had been arguing right past each other for six pages. That pretty much took the wind out of the argument.

Molly, sometimes the "sticking to scripture" can be accusatory as well, especially on sticky wicket subject like woman wearing trousers, long-short hair and the like,,,oh, oh, and what about open-toed shoes?

We can often quote scripture verses to support anything we wish. So, the keyword, is respect. We must learn to respect each other in all things.

    Cheers,

    Jim

I agree....and have stood for respect on these issues, while not choosing one or the other. But,it is dishearteing to see reactions that are so angry, whether they agree or disagree.

What did you mean by that? Huh?

I read all this stuff, get personal messages from some of you about how naughty another is doing.

Hey, I am BIG and FAT and live up NORTH. Am "making a list, checking it twice, going to find out who's naughty or nice".

Your day will come. About 25 from now . . .

MORE LUMPS OF COAL, PLEASE

I do believe in the virgin birth, but sorry, Dr. Bob, I don't "do" the Christ-Mass! [Does that qualify me for crabby?] :D
