Just curious to see the percentage of pro-life verses not pro-life there is on this board.

    God Bless!

    Just to clarify.

By pro-life I mean against abortions and they should not be legal.

No vote would mean that you believe abortions should be legal or you could care less one way or the other.

100% prolifer here. I'm the result of an unwanted pregnancy and my mother was brave enough to choose life. I thank God for that choice she made even when abortion was legal in California when I was born.

I am pro-life when it comes to unborn babies, the elderly, mentally disabled, etc. That doesn't mean I oppose the death penalty for murders and rapists. (Some folks think you aren't pro-life if you agree with the death penalty, so I thought I'd clarify.)

Those "some folks" do have a point.

I always tell people I am Pro-Choice - I believe if the baby chooses abortion, then I say go ahead and let him be aborted.

I also tell people, especially those who believe in late term abortions, that a mother should be able to abort her child up to 29 days after it is born. Boy do I get weird looks. So I ask them, what is the difference in aborting a child 1 day after birth and 1 day before birth. That is when people actually start to do some serious thinking.

Are you at all surprised that there actually are some pro abortion "Christians" here?

 And still today, Mitt Romney is just as Multiple Choice as he was then. (Though some like to call it flip flopping.)

I agree with you abcgrad. Kill the guilty, save the innocent. Why is that such a hard concept for our liberal government to understand?

Casting Crowns has a good line about our American nation in While You Were Sleeping:
That is exactly what the democratic party wants to do, oh wait so do most of the republicans. Guess I better go back to sleep.

That's not exactly the whole story, either. There are some that say they are pro-life but support pro abortion candidates and policies.

^^^^^^same. My mom calls it anti-abortion instead of pro-life for that reason.

    Love it!

What is interesting is we can on this board condone the murder of innocent unborn children but if you disparage what some call a Bible "version" you will be banned.

I am 100% Pro-Life, with no exceptions! As to matters of rape and incest, it is unconscionable to take the life of an innocent child for the crimes of his father.

    KenH,

You said on the "falling away" thread the following....

How do you come to this conclusion when you know how one abortion procedure is to pull the fully developed child out of the womb by the feet all but the head and then the child's skull is pierced and the brains sucked out until dead?

This is not a murder in God's view?

Or did you mean it's not a murder according to our countries law, not your view?

    Please explain.

    God Bless!

Had to vote no because of limited choices. I am against aborting third term pregnancies but a collection of undifferentiated cells is . . . undifferentiated. In common US usage, "pro life" is equated to "nut case."

I've gotta believe that God already knows exactly who these, as you call them, "undifferentiated cells" is and they are already precious to Him.

Just exactly at what point are we talking about innocent human life here? Is it not from conception?

Yes, I think it is. But we are talking about politics here and what governement policy should be. Every sinful act should not be made illegal by the government.
