Wow, that is a bad sign of things to come. I will keep praying that the importance of holiness takes root in the heart of SBC leaders.

I don't think that anyone from the SBC will ever comment on or apologize for this atrocity against Tom Littleton of throwing him out of the convention for asking Russell Moore a polite question. They made a mistake in electing J.D. Greear, who is theologically sloppy. His comments on Allah are absurd, implying that Islam is a Christian cult instead of a totally different religion. It has been a pyrrhic victory for them on the religious left because they have not been able to cover up what they have done and are doing. Brent Leatherwood and Russell Moore need to go back into secular politics. I don't understand why Leatherwood cannot keep his hands to himself? I think that it is not Moore but Greear who ordered Rev. Littleton's removal for asking a question that really goes to an attempt by the SBC to legitimize LGBT inside the SBC. Am I wrong?

Tom said he doesn't know who exactly asked to have him removed but that Brent was there when the police approached him and kept starring at him. The police would not answer the question about who made the complaint.

I have emailed the ERLC and asked about this. Not sure if I will get a response.

The ERLC will probably start a file on you....

This concerns me greatly, thinking upon it some more. I need to do more research on the SBC organizations and their future.

For those with more knowledge than I, what happens if the SBC organizations and positions liberalize, if the churches and seminaries don't?

If there is ever an agenda in the convention, and there is, the primary way in which it would be pushed is to get control of the seminaries. This is done by placing select people on the committees that over see the individual seminaries. I can assure you this is what is in play and happening right now.

Let's wait and see what the soteriology of the next President of Southwestern is. If the new guy is a particularist then it will confirm why Patterson was treated as he has been.

We know the names of four people: J.D. Greear, Russell Moore, Brent Leatherwood, and Dwight McKissic, Should Mohler be on the list also? Leatherwood, who used to work on political campaigns as a consultant apparently has no social skills as he strong-armed Tom Littleton for no good reason. Russell Moore also has no social skills if he cannot handle questions about what he is doing. It seems that people are trying to hide something from Littleton and the rest of us.
