But this is sports, don't you know? In America it is the last bastion of where it is acceptable to mock, ridicule, degrade, belittle, and hate those who cheer on a team, school, city, or institution with differing goals, perspectives, and traditions.

Well the Eagles have been having a tough time (as usual!).

Our only pleasure is watching our old teammate, T.O.

Newest T.O. update, he's falling asleep during meetings. :sleeping_2:

As a hometown Philly phan, I will faithfully keep on rooting for Dallas..... to loose. :praying:

Not sure, but remember Jesus told Peter that whatever he loosed on earth would be loosed in heaven. So there probably are no football pants or blue jeans there.

On this Sunday evening, to this thread I have but one thing to say:

    22-19

It wasn't pretty, the penalities were horrific, but some of the plays were extraordinary, and that kick with no time on the clock -- we in DC will have one topic and one alone at the office water coolers tomorrow! We have had a poor season, but beating Dallas makes everything all right ....

    until next week.

Two mediocre teams that split their two games with each other. Neither of our teams will be in the playoffs this season.

Makes me glad that Indy has become my second favorite team during the past few years and that I have even started following the Saints this season with the former Cowboys' offensive coordinator as their new head coach.

Your judgment about Tony Romo has proven to be wrong. He just led the Cowboys over Peyton Manning and the Colts and is now 3-1 as a starting quarterback - would be 4-0 if Vanderjagt was a better kicker this season than he has been so far.

I still don't think the Cowboys will make the playoffs due to their poor start at the beginning of the seaon but it looks like they have found their long term solution at quarterback.

Wow! I thought Romo would be good but I am simply amazed watching him have a great time on the football field week after week after week...

If the Cowboys defeat the Giants in their next game, then they could run the table for the rest of the regular season, win the NFC East, and get a bye in the first week of the playoffs.

Talk about a team picking itself up off the deck. Wow!

Yep, lucky they are in the weak NFC! If they were in the AFC, they would be lucky just to make the playoffs.

Yeah, the AFC's best - the Indianapolis Colts - really whipped the Cowboys last Sunday. :)
