    That sounds like the jist of it.

    Look at all the money the drug cartels would lose Or the big banks that launder their money. Or the government that spends billions every year for a few headlines. Or the prison industrial complex that taxpayers support.

    In the case of the hemp plant think of all the profits the paper and plastics and big chemical industries would lose. Legalizing hemp might even cut into big oil's profits. We can't have the Duponts and the Rothschilds going without now can we?

    No keep drugs illegal so all the profits and rewrads keep going to the same people. And let's keep drugs illegal to keep all the power where it belongs, with the drug suppliers, big banks, corporations and big government and out of the hands of the people because we can't be trusted with it.

    Freedom is slavery. So let's not go there.

    If we really look at TND's argument there is no conflict or dilema. He simply want sto keep the profits and power in the same hands whether it be those who profit from legalized alcohol or illegal drugs.
