Come to this as a person who has been in both the Assemblies of God and Baptist traditions. Believe in the view that while the spritual gifts have not ceased to operate today, all but two of the former offices have ceased for today.

Many charasmatics/pentacosalists hold to "5 fold minstry" for today, and word of faith, extra biblical doctrines etc..

From my understanding from the Bible though, ONLY office of the Teacher/Pastor in force today, and while some may have a gift of prophecy still, office of the prophet closed down after canon of scrioture, the Bible, was completed by Apostle John.

    Well?

There was never an office of prophet in the New Testament. There were those who held the gift of prophecy--perhaps there still are--but it is not an ecclesial office like that of pastor or deacon.
