If the democrats mess up health care with a wreckless, costly bill they should not be reelected. Health care needs reform, but not at any cost. Also, only addressing health care without addressing the rising cost of insurance and malpractice costs is only looking at part of the problem. Another costly problem is illegal immigration which puts a tremendous drain on both health care and the public in general.

Since politicians are so wrapped up in lobbyist and greed, I doubt that any of them will do anything that is beneficial for the American consumer.

Well, Ken, you've hit on a solution...constantly switch sides.

That way, you win some of the time...

    Negative.

I hate his politics and his policies and the direction he is trying to take this country. He's the President and can have a huge effect on my life.

George Bush's politics don't matter any more and nothing he does can effect me.

CTB continues to beat that dead horse out of pure hate.

I'll understand if you can't see the difference.

What a profoundly intellectually dishonest poster you are.

    Here's your MO:

    • You start a thread: if anyone asks a question you can't answer, you whine about "staying on topic," and then completely avoid the question.
    • Someone else starts a thread, and you disagree with it: You immediately post something completely off-topic.
Is the hypocrisy apparent? Or do I need to be clearer?

$200 for a sheet of paper with Ron Paul, Rand Paul, and Chuck Baldwin on it? What a deal. The check's in the mail!

You are so funny. If I were you, I would have sent it UPS. On a serious note, our only disagreement is the nature of the Republican Party. By the way, Rand Paul is running for Senate in our state as a Republican.

How is the night shift treating you? Since I retired in October, I still have not learned to sleep all night regularly.

Yes I have seen the Rand Paul signs up all over northern Kentucky. He is ahead in all the polls. I reserve comment on him, since he is sort of a pig in a poke.

I am doing fine with night shift work, thanks for asking. Only 4 more years to go! Hope your recovery is going well.

Agreed. If this monstrousity passes, the next election cycle will be a bloodbath for the Dems.

Actually, the first four years were very good. The economy soared and unemployment fell. It was the second term where all the damage was done.
